kandi X-RAY | markdown-here Summary
Markdown Here is a Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Thunderbird extension that lets you write email† in Markdown‡ and render them before sending. It also supports syntax highlighting (just specify the language in a fenced code block). Writing email with code in it is pretty tedious. Writing Markdown with code in it is easy. I found myself writing email in Markdown in the Github in-browser editor, then copying the preview into email. This is a pretty absurd workflow, so I decided create a tool to write and render Markdown right in the email. I created a blog in Nuxt.js which uses Markdown for my articles. When writing my first article, I realized I can't include images in my markdown article from my assets
folder. It only works if it's a link like the example below:

Only absolute paths should work after placing the image in the /static
directory
QUESTION
I have a Markdown file, and I want to open it with the formatting. I tried using a web browser, but it just gave me plain text. I also added two Chrome extensions, but it still just gave me some plain text.

ANSWER
Answered 2020-Apr-06 at 01:59I use Visual Studio Code to edit and view markdown.
You can edit markdown just like any other text file.
To see the formatted version, just right click the tab and select "Open Preview."
