Here is my problem, I'm trying to allow users to add wherever they want a dynamic span created during an onClick event on the "Link" button. When the dynamic span is created, I set it the attribute draggable="true", but with the function that I found, allowing to drag an element anywhere, the span in question is staying fixed in the "smsArea" area.

Would there be simple ways to be able to drag & drop wherever an element in a precise area?

Finally I found a solution by using this method : window.getSelection().getRangeAt(0);
