            I solved the problem.

I used model instead of ViewBag mentioned in comments it didn't work I kept getting the same error

I think the problem is due to the similarity of the route parts of the 2 Views.

MPI functions appear to execute out of order compared to printf()
            Asked 2021-Aug-06 at 13:56

I am having a very strange code using MPI, in which statements appear to be executed in the wrong order. Specifically, the MPI statement appears to be executing before the printf even though it comes after it in the code.

Screen output gets buffered by the OS, and then has to make its way through ssh tunnels to the process that started the MPI run. As a result, screen output can arrive in all sorts of orders. There is basically no way to get neatly ordered screen output, other than sending all text to process zero and printing from there in the correct order.

Can I get these template arguments deduced?
            Asked 2020-Oct-06 at 23:04

I left out the template parameters where the question marks were and I got an error, for obvious reason, but what to do in this case? I essentially want the two parameter arguments < ? , ? > to be the types of the getter and setter.

Modifying class variable from TPL foreach loop
            Asked 2020-Mar-06 at 13:48

I have the following console app that will delete blobs from a storage account container that are older than 7 days.

I am trying to create a feedback loop on the console screen by calling WriteNumberFilesProcessed() which increments the member variable _counter once a blob is deleted and then writes to the console.

The problem is when the last task is completing in the TPL foreach loop rather than the _counter member variable going from 29999 to 30000, it will be something further out i.e 29995.

I'm not sure what I need to do to make sure that the TPL foreach loop is getting an up-to-date member varaible?

            ANSWER

            Answered 2020-Mar-06 at 13:48

Your problem is that multiple threads are calling _counter++ at once. This leads to a race condition.

To fix it, the easiest way is to use one of the Interlocked methods like so:
