QUESTION
I am working on a angular app in which I have a matInput field as shown in below code
User can enter positive or negative value. Suppose I have current value as 100 and user enter +5 or 5(user can use + symbol or can give positive number) I want my final output as 100 and if user enter -5 then I want my final output should be 95 and I want to display output immediately on screen. The problem I am facing with my code is :
- Input is getting appended to 100 it is not doing any addition or substraction
- I am not getting immediate output. I am able to display output if I click somewhere outside input field.
How can I resolve above two issues?
HTML ...ANSWER
Answered 2021-May-11 at 07:00the input element returns the value as a string instead of a number.
You need to convert event.target.value
to a number before adding the two.
You can use the shorthand +event.target.value
, which will convert the value to a number (it's equivalent to parseInt()
)
QUESTION
I am working on a angular application. I am facing some issues in *ngFor. my code is as follows
The problem I am facing is if I click on second box then with it fourth box is getting clicked automatically and same is the case with first value. I want if I click on second box then only second box is clicked and same follows with other boxes. How can I do that?
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Apr-26 at 14:41It's because ngFor is looping on your Array, so each time angular is creating two li node. You need to have only one li and to put ul node outside the loop too.
Here is an example based on id : https://stackblitz.com/edit/ngx-slider-simple-slider-example-uqyu62?file=src/app/app.component.html
update (see comment) based on this link : https://stackblitz.com/edit/angular-mat-card-example-d8nydd?file=src%2Fapp%2Fapp.component.ts
If you really can't update your myData structure, you can manage state of each card in a external variable : https://stackblitz.com/edit/angular-mat-card-example-bwuduo?file=src/app/app.component.ts

QUESTION
I'm developing with react. And I want to use sliders, so I decided to use a library called "react-slick".
I used to use a library called "slick" in a place other than React's development environment. "slick" had methods for adding, removing, and filtering elements to sliders, such as slickAdd(), slickRemove(), and slickFilter(). However, it looks like this hasn't been implemented yet in react-slick.
I mainly want to use SlickFilter(), how should I implement this?
The demo page of react-slick is here, but unfortunately there is no demo about filter.

On the other hand, even on slick, there is a demo titled "Filtering" on the page.
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Nov-10 at 11:22You should decide when rendering your slide items based on the filters you want, for example this code filter slides if we click to toggle view of slides with odd number:
QUESTION
I'm trying to build a slider in D3. I found a library for this https://github.com/johnwalley/d3-simple-slider which is perfect for the regular slider.
However, I need to slide by steps among irregularly spaced dates : [2002,2005,2012,2029] for example.
Do I need to build the slider by myself? Or do you know any other way?
Thank you,

Answered 2020-Apr-10 at 14:23The plugin you have chosen can work. See the example below. You need to add some customization.

QUESTION
I am struggling to use a technique (that has worked for me previously in other projects but for some reason is not this time around) to hide the extra slides that get created by slick slider, until the slider is ready and in control of the layout of the slides.
The main cause of concern is the absolutely positioned :after element assigned in this rule .informative-slider-section .simple-slide-container:after {}. This still shows even when the main slide does not.
The slider becomes what it should shortly after load but until that point, only this absolutely positioned element shows repeatedly going down the page where each slide would be showing if it didn't get slick'd.
What is the best way for me to hide additional slides (& the :after) until the slider is built and ready to show the slides?
Not sure how else to word this so I will post a simplified version of my code:

Answered 2019-Sep-23 at 16:52You can make use of the :not(.slick-initialized)
selector on your carousel like so:
QUESTION
well, I assuming that my wordpress theme is doing that, but I really dont know. Today I woke up and I was going to continue working on my home page and I saw that some sections are duplicate and I didnt do that. Its a site with a woocomerce shop and I have an element that is "featured products" when I add it to the layout it duplicates itself. The same happens with all that is below that (instagram caroussel and fotter) Its like my wordpress added another new page below the home. This is the page: https://prueba.soygorrion.com.ar/ enter image description here(also I upload an image) I dont know what happenned.
This is some of the code that is at the bottom of the page
...ANSWER
Answered 2019-Jul-11 at 04:46In WordPress when you create a page it inherits the layout from the single.php file of your theme, And that is the reason why it's getting duplicated.
So if you want to create a different page then look for "How to make custom page template tutorial which suits your needs" Check this one for complete beginner
Or just search it over bing or google.
