            Resizing SVG Icons using Javascript
            Asked 2021-Jan-04 at 12:25

Within the #pageList div element, there are six links contained in which when the user clicks the .togglePL button, the div element collapses to show the SVG icons only.

When the #pageList element is not collapsed, the SVG icons are set at a fixed width and height of 20.

When the user collapses the div to show the icons only, the SVG icons appear really quite small and hard to see on screen.

Is there any way within the Javascript code to keep the icons at a fixed width and height of 20, even if the element #pageList is collapsed or not?

            I have tried running this line in JS within the else parenthesis but to no prevail: $('.togglePL a svg').css({width:'20', height:'20'});

Please find the code attached here:

It acquired the width according to with of its container, you need to set with to 50 using $('#pageList').width(50); for a better size of SVG icons.

or simply add the custom class when the sidebar is collapsed and then decrease the padding of a to make some space for SVG icons. Like:

Subscription Not Returning 201 Created HTTP Status Code
            Asked 2020-Apr-03 at 13:56

I am trying to subscribe to a user's mailbox using Microsoft Graph subscriptions. I try to subscribe to a specific user's mailbox using the 'created' changeType only, which is being accessed via a token created using client credentials on my company's tenant in AD (app registration). This is being done in my dev environment (Laravel framework, using Laravel Valet + ngrok).

I can successfully create the subscription on MS's side, making the notification URL the ngrok URL and I am able to pass validation etc, but MS does not appear to return confirmation that the subscription has been created with a "201 Created" response like it says it should in the docs.

I can confirm myself that the subscription works because I can send an email to that mailbox and ngrok catches the request containing the correct information - just the initial setup of the webhook does not return 201 on successful creation.

I would like to have this confirmation so I can store the ID of the webhook etc in the application for further use (updating expiry on cron etc).

Apologies if I haven't submitted enough information to make the question clear - just ask for relevant details.

How should I proceed with this?

EDIT - Including code examples and routing

The code I use is a custom class so I cannot include everything but this is how it gets built:

The main issue is that the response from the subscription creation request is not used (logged, stored, etc...) from looking at the code. (last line of handle method).
As described in the comments the subscription information will be in the response, not in the validation request coming to the endpoint.

How to apply xmodem CRC on generating and checking
            Asked 2018-Jul-07 at 02:51

I've iterated of lots of articles - for some reason I couldn't find any which describes what must be a simple procedure: How to combine a calculated CRC with the original message, so that calculating CRC again results in 0 (=checks out as correct)? I did find several examples with 'longhand' calculations (only 2 or 3 bit CRCs), but no example which uses a library function such as [crcmod][1] (Python library).

Here's a simple program I wrote to check it out:

crc_calc.update(new_msg) adds the entire content of new_msg to the CRC. Since crc_calc already holds the result of 313233343536373839, you are effectively calculating the CRC of 31323334353637383931323334353637383931c3 and this is indeed 00ef.

To add only the two bytes to the calculation, use
