How does Kubernetes invoke a Docker image?
            Asked 2018-Apr-12 at 15:43

I am attempting to run a Flask app via uWSGI in a Kubernetes deployment. When I run the Docker container locally, everything appears to be working fine. However, when I create the Kubernetes deployment on Google Kubernetes Engine, the deployment goes into Crashloop Backoff because uWSGI complains:

            uwsgi: unrecognized option '--http 127.0.0.1:8080'.

The image definitely has the http option because: a. uWSGI was installed via pip3 which includes the http plugin. b. When I run the deployment with --list-plugins, the http plugin is listed. c. The http option is recognized correctly when run locally.

I am running the Docker image locally with:

$: docker run uwsgi --http 127.0.0.1:8080

The container Kubernetes YAML config is:

It is happening because of the difference between arguments processing in the console and in the configuration.

To fix it, just split your args like that:

Cloud Foundry : Eureka Server as user provided service and add services
            Asked 2017-Nov-14 at 04:24

The cloud foundry in our organization does not have Spring Cloud services installed. I have created a Eureka Server and deployed it in the Cloud foundry and able to see the Eureka home page

I have created a user provide service and bound the application using the steps provided here (https://github.com/making/cf-eureka-server)!

I have given the following dependencies since there is no Spring CLoud

The spring-cloud-services-starter-* client libraries were developed to match the way that Spring Cloud Services deploys and secures Spring Cloud applications like Eureka. These Spring Cloud Services libraries aren't likely to work with a Eureka service you write yourself unless you implement the same security and other configuration that SCS does.

Instead of using io.pivotal.spring.cloud:spring-cloud-services-starter-service-registry, you should use org.springframework.cloud:spring-cloud-starter-eureka and configure Eureka using properties in application.properties or application.yml. You can set the appropriate properties to values parsed from the user-provided service instance as shown in making's example from the Github repo:

            eureka.client.service-url.defaultZone=${vcap.services.eureka-service.credentials.uri:http://localhost:8761}/eureka/

Calling a method in an angular Component from an external JS file
            Asked 2017-Oct-27 at 06:13

I am developing an e-learning application that plays SCORM content. I'm fairly new to angular and scorm. I'm using angular 4 and spring boot. I am facing difficulty in exposing the backend API to the SCORM content.

These are what I have tried so far:

The below code view-course-content.ts has all the 8 SCORM methods that the SCO will invoke from a javascript file inorder to communicate with the LMS.
