Automised way to activate Receive Billing Alerts Option with the AWS Console
            Asked 2020-Mar-30 at 18:24

I'm looking for an automised way to activate the option the AWS Billing Preferences to receive billing alerts. As far as know, this is a requirement for receiving billing alerts from Cloudwatch.

I searched the boto3 reference doc, but I wasn't successfull. I don't want to use static checkt like mentionend here.

For me, some scanning over a certain preiod and threshold seems to be the ideal solution.

I'm thinking of a CustomResource in an account set up stack to activate this option.

            Thanks in advance!

Thanks to @Dvir669. I figured out, that AWS Budgets solves my problems without restrictions according to regions (global service, with regional endpoints) and without the need to change billing preferences. But AWS Budgets comes with a sophisticated billing dashboard. Finally, the alert notifications are well-formatted and by default no SNS topic is needed. I attached a picture.

Within the CDK, it's pretty simple to configure AWS Budgets:

splunk inputcsv not recognized on windows 7
            Asked 2018-May-09 at 16:07

I've been asked to do a proof of concept of importing a CSV file into splunk. So I've had to setup a Splunk Enterprise trial on my Windows 7 machine.

I've downloaded and installed the Splunk Enterprise MSI from the splunk site. And I've started the service successfully from the command line.

However when I try to import a CSV file it says the inputcsv subcommand can't be found.

In the Splunk Web, which can be found in http://localhost:8000/en-US/app/launcher/search (Port:8000 is used for default, change it if you have specified another) insert in the search
