            Two issues, two awsers.

            First you should add an init file in unifile, with this python will understand that unifile is a package with sub package.

            Second, open is a built in function and you overwrite it by calling your class open. Change your class name and it should work.

            The problem was a old version of the OniObjects library. According to Rocket Software, the issue was addressed in September 2015.

            Installing the latest version of the U2 Client Tools (October 2016) solved the problem.
