Lets achieve you output somehow with so many let ;)

let - you are trying to group by results with the last part of value in your column - DESCRIPTION.

Let - you are ok with keeping the MIN value from the CATEGORY column among the group.

Now- try this below query. Just trying to help you somehow :)

I am trying to set up custom angle/frequency halftone screensets with ghostscript and ran into a peculiar problem. The resulting output contains black dots where there should be none.

As a reproducer I found this code:

I have a spreadsheet with data in columns A, B, and C (small sample shown below).

Just read the documentation to Query() and the GSheet's subset of SQL, what you need is the GROUP BY clause. Another solution that might work immediately is a Pivot Table.

            Opening an old postscript file
            Asked 2017-Nov-22 at 16:17

I've been asked to open some old PostScript files created in the 90s on a Sun. I've tried GhostView, ImageMagick, InkScape, Gimp, Okular... and they all turn out a blank page, as does sending the file to a printer.

I've written a PS driver for a printer in the... 80s, so I'm understandably very rusty in the language.

Is there a way to get error messages when opening the file ? More generally, how can I debug PS files, such as single stepping ?

Here's a condensed version of one of the files I'm trying to open ( I removed several thousands of repetitive lines).

The PostScript file in question (and by the comment from the original poster, similar files) starts with a '270 rotate'.

This moves the marking content of the program by rotation around the 0,0 co-ordinate, which is not the centre of the page, its the lower left corner. The result of this is that the marking operations then take place 'off the page' resulting in a blank page. The program should include a 'translate' to move the origin either before or after rotation, so that the marking operations are moved back onto the area of the media.

Level 1 PostScript often relied upon 'just knowing' the characteristics of a device, so such tricks were not uncommon back then.
