QUESTION
I built an app using Django 3.2.3., but when I try to settup my javascript code for the HTML, it doesn't work. I have read this post Django Static Files Development and follow the instructions, but it doesn't resolve my issue.
Also I couldn't find TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS
, according to this post no TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS in django, from 1.7 Django and later, TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS
is the same as TEMPLATE
to config django.core.context_processors.static
but when I paste that code, turns in error saying django.core.context_processors.static
doesn't exist.
I don't have idea why my javascript' script isn't working.
The configurations are the followings
Settings.py
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 18:56Run ‘python manage.py collectstatic’ and try again.
The way you handle static wrong, remove the static dirs in your INSTALLED_APPS out of STATIC_DIRS and set a STATIC_ROOT then collectstatic again.
Add the following as django documentation to your urls.py

the function will receive two arguments,
the data table and the row index.
the function should return the value to be displayed (the annotation).

Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 16:37Use map
instead of forEach
. forEach
returns a void
. Remove []
too otherwise you need to use the spread operator. Add async-await
wherever necessary because I can see listen
callback is async
.
QUESTION
I have some local packages hosted on my own machine, I would like to include a copy of them in distribution of other packages that depends on them. When installing a local package, pip freeze
shows something like
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 16:11I managed to do it with source distributions and overriding sdist
and egg_info
commands to make setuptools bundle local dependencies together with package and to make pip search dependencies in that bundle when installing the built package later. But later I figured out it makes system vulnerable to dependency confusion attacks because local packages installed from that bundle are visible with pip freeze
, if for some reason the dependency location, like local-package @ file:///home/user/packages/local-package.tar.gz
is stripped to just local-package
pip will search it on pypi, which allows dependency confusion to happen.
The best solution for this problem is to vendor all local dependencies where their source code is copied to the package, pip itself vendors its dependencies using vendoring.
QUESTION
What's the use of call dbms_scheduler.auto_purge()
? The procedure is not listed in the official PL/SQL Packages and Types Reference.
When I execute this function, what will happen?
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 11:32I've never used it. But, here's what Morgan's Library and Burleson Consulting say about it (didn't find any reference in "official" Oracle documentation).
AUTO_PURGE purges from the logs based on class and global log_history.
The AUTO_PURGE procedure uses the log_history values defined at the scheduler, job class and job log_history level to determine which logs should be purged. This procedure runs as part of the scheduled purge process, but it can also be run manually.

Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 15:10Shouldn't I be able to import the functions from code.py within testing.ipynb?
It depends from where you start the script. If you start it from the top level directory of both folders then it should work.
toplevel/ package/ init.py code.py notebooks/ testing.ipynb
For instance, with the above directory structure, launch testing.ipynb
with toplevel
being your working directory.
