This was difficult for me to understand, so I wanted to share if anyone else has the same issue.

It seems that an async method will break a method chain, there's no way around that. And since fetch is asynchronous, await must be used, and in order for await to be used, the calling method must be declared async. Thus the method chain will be broken.

The way the method chain is called must be changed.

In my OP, I linked https://jsfiddle.net/47sfj3Lv/3/ as a much simpler version of the same problem. StackOverflow's 'fiddle' effectively blocks 'fetch' for security reasons, so I need to use JSFiddle for demonstration.

Here's a working version of the same code using then and how/why it works, and a slightly shorter version, because await can be specified with the the fetch, obviously.

You most likely don't want to call getData on every render, so you should store the response somewhere, it might be in the component state:

Your getData function could call slice using (num - 1) * 4 as the first argument and num * 4 as the second argument:

Maybe this sounds stupid,I believe we can do a @ComponentScan for the Library Project from a Service project that's created. My Question is looking at the below implementation is there any possibility to use annotation in the below library project, because Annotations are throwing NullPointerException for the below code?

With SpringBootApplication annotation, It will create application context with all required beans when starting the application. The object will be injected whenever it needed.

But in the Normal java application, the Object will be created while calling the new keyword.

@SpringBootApplication it required when you have @Autowired annotation otherwise you will get error.

From what i can see, you have some form and you want to plug 3 data to the form on submit.

Depending on your database configuration, you can do 3 different way:

The best one is to use the mapping

Your evaluation have those 3 fields:

            • date
            • user
            • player

Then just add them to the original builder as hidden field whith default value what you have:

Posting the comments of @VenkateshTalacheeru, @FrankvanPuffelen as a Community wiki answer.

Firebase Firestore read counts are calculated even you load data in your Firebase console. It will read all the collections and documents you have every time you refresh or real-time syncs. It's expected behavior.

As was mentioned in another thread,

use of the Firebase console will incur reads. If you leave the console open on a collection/document with busy write activity, the console will automatically read the changes that update the console's display. This is very often the source of unexpected reads.
