SRTLab | SubRip subtitle file converter

kandi X-RAY | SRTLab Summary
SRTLab is a Perl library. SRTLab has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities, it has a Strong Copyleft License and it has low support. You can download it from GitHub.
This is a Perl script that can perform certain operations on SubRip (.srt) subtitle files. For instance, it can scale and offset the time stamps of all subtitles based on two pairs of current and expected time values. It can also check files for subtitles that appear too briefly or overly long, and attempt to fix subs that appear too briefly (which is of course not always possible), as well as remove overlap between subtitles. It also has routines that attempt to remove annotations for the hearing impaired, if you want to convert such file to one with only dialog text. There is also a rudimentary fix for typical OCR errors in English subtitles. It is a bit of a work in progress and I plan to add some more features, but I released it to the public since it is already useful in its current form.
