Is there a Vim plugin that would TAB-complete symbols from CTags index?
            Asked 2021-Jun-16 at 01:15

I've stumbled upon a quite innovative functionality in editor – ability to TAB-complete symbols from CTags index, on this Asciinema video.

I wonder if there is anything like it available for Vim? I've been using many completion engines like eg. CoC, however none of them seems to offer what NeoMCEdit does. Is there such plugin for Vim?

Basic keyword completion, :help i_ctrl-p/:help i_ctrl-n, already does that out of the box because of the default value of :help 'complete'.

Alternatively, you can use your tags files as exclusive source with :help i_ctrl-x_ctrl-].

You have to initialize all instance properties somehow. And you have to do it right up front, either in the declaration line or in your init method.

But what if you don't actually have the initial value until later, like in viewDidLoad? Then it is silly to supply a real heavyweight value only to replace it later:

Columns not properly moving in QTableView (QAbstractTableModel) using beginMoveColumns?
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 20:13

I am trying to use beginMoveColumns to move a single column over in a QTableView, but it doesn't work properly in my example below. The cell selections get shuffled and column widths don't move. Moving rows using the same logic seems to work correctly. What am I doing wrong?

As a workaround I just clear cell selection on column move, and use this snippet to move column widths

            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 19:00

I have a list (dput() below) that has 4 datasets.I also have a variable called 'u' with 4 characters. I have made a video here which explains what I want and a spreadsheet is here.

The spreadsheet is not exactly how my data looks like but i am using it just as an example. My original list has 4 datasets but the spreadsheet has 3 datasets.

Essentially i have some characters(A,B,C,D) and i want to find the proportions of times each character occurs in each column of 3 groups of datasets.(Check video, its hard to explain by typing it out)

We can loop over the list 'l' with lapply, then get the table for each of the columns by looping over the columns with sapply after converting the column to factor with levels specified as 'u', get the proportions, transpose, convert to data.frame (as.data.frame), split by row (asplit - MARGIN = 1), then use transpose from purrr to change the structure so that each column from all the list elements will be blocked as a single unit, bind them with bind_rows

I'm not familiar with Discord bots but I don't think your endHandler will ever run the else if part the way it is because your code is always creating a new dispatcher when it plays the next song, but never sets up a finish handler for it.

Can browsers natively play packaged subtitles (included in the video file)?
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 14:13

As you might know, most common video container files are like zip archives that contain several other files: the actual video, several audio files for different languages and several text files for subtitles and captions. If these tracks are included in the video file, that's called packaged afaik.

Now, while HTML offers the element to reference additional files, are browsers capable of choosing among different packaged tracks and display different subtitles?

            How is browser support?

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 14:13

No, they can't, even though the HTML standard encourages browser vendors to implement such controls.

The standard allows several audio and video tracks per media resource, and exposes them via JavaScript:

A media resource can have multiple embedded audio and video tracks. For example, in addition to the primary video and audio tracks, a media resource could have foreign-language dubbed dialogues, director's commentaries, audio descriptions, alternative angles, or sign-language overlays.

4.8.12.10 Media resources with multiple media tracks

Additionally, the standard encourages controls for different audio tracks and captions.

If the [control] attribute is present, […] the user agent should expose a user interface to the user. This user interface should include features to […] change the display of closed captions or embedded sign-language tracks, select different audio tracks or turn on audio descriptions […]
