QUESTION
Using php 7.2
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Dec-17 at 14:30This seems to be a problem with the virtual box filesystem. I created an issue to composer and hopefully more insight will be gained.

QUESTION
I have a similar issue as Iterating through DataSnapShot.Children stops the execution of code (Unity, Firebase) The solution to this question also helped me to get my code working. However I additionally wanted to call a function which creates a new GameObject every iteration of the for loop. The for loop seems to call the callForEachElement()-function on every iteration, if the function only includes a "Debug.Log" statement. As soon as I try to instantiate an object inside the function, the for loop stops after the first call and doesn't instantiate the object. In the code below Debug.Log("Before instantiation") is called and Debug.Log("After instantiation") is never called. Can anybody explain why this doesn't work and why the loop just runs one time, if I want to do this?
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Dec-09 at 20:12I looks like something you are doing in the Instantiate(prefab)
statement may causing the task from FirebaseDatabase.DefaultInstance.GetReference("202012").GetValueAsync()
and its children to be cancelled.
Call the ContinueWith() method using a cancellation token so you can see if this is the case.

ANSWER
Answered 2020-Mar-25 at 08:02We've been seeing the same, and suspect its either a change in Composer behaviour since 1.10, or changes to rate limits on the GitHub side.
It looks like it first attempts HTTP downloads (it really doesn't help that Composer doesn't show the exact HTTP error), and then falls back to cloning source. The latter works for a while, but then also results in timeouts, possibly because GitHub is limiting these as well.
Either way, what fixed it for us is making sure Composer HTTP requests to GitHub are authenticated. See the docs here: https://getcomposer.org/doc/articles/troubleshooting.md#api-rate-limit-and-oauth-tokens

QUESTION
When I do $ composer update
on prod server, I get this message:
ANSWER
Answered 2018-Sep-26 at 09:40I solved it doing composer install
instead of composer update
.
Still no idea about why it didn't work, but at least it works now...
For people trying (as I used to) to do composer update
in a context of production, don't:
What are the differences between composer update and composer install?
When to install and when to update
composer update
is mostly used in the 'development phase', to upgrade our project packages according to what we have specified in thecomposer.json
file,
composer install
is primarily used in the 'deploying phase' to install our application on a production server or on a testing environment, using the same dependencies stored in thecomposer.lock
file created bycomposer update
.
And a nice diagram here.
A discussion about curl error was posted here for reference: SSH Curl doesn't work when URL is accessible in browser
For french developers using SSH with a shared hosting pro at OVH, the support says external calls like curl
are disabled in ssh, but obviously I could do curl https://packagist.org/packages.json
. When they tried themselves, they got an error like action forbidden
or something like that. It doesn't make any sense.

QUESTION
I have installed php56-php-intl.x86_64 successfully, however it is not enabled.
What I have done for check is like these below.
yum list installed | grep php
...ANSWER
Answered 2017-Jan-30 at 06:02From your output, PHP 5.6 is installed from remi-php56 repository, so you have to install php-intl from the same repository (which doesn't seems enabled), not php56-php-intl which is a different package for parallel installation.
Have you read the Wizard instructions ?
