Only the author knows for sure (even they might not know). If there is source versioning metadata available, then associated commit message might be useful. Without more information, we can only guess what they were thinking. Some potential answers:
- The author assumed that the condition of the if-statement would have some effect, but they were wrong and the mistake wasn't tested.
- It's a vestigial result of some refactoring.
- Perhaps some code was removed that used to make the statement meaningful.
- Or perhaps it was copied from elsewhere where it did have a meaning.
- Or perhaps there used to be a series of if-statements and there was an intention to replace them with a switch, but the change was half-assed.

in my package.json.
This is the error response after yarn start.

Has anyone ever come across this issue?
When using react-scripts start, everything seems ok on first load. As soon as a change is made to a file, all the mouse event seem to stop working (can't click on buttons, inputs, no tooltips etc.), even though the browser appears to update.
If I refresh the page the events work again, until a file is changed.
This isn't a problem in production as the watcher isn't involved there.
Any ideas?
EDIT:
I've found the problem but I'm not sure what the solution is.
It appears that a iFrame is added to the DOM when the watcher reloads. It looks like it has something to do with licenses. The body within the iFrame is empty but there is some minified JS with a comment on the top line:

Does anyone know how to prevent this iFrame appearing.

I would like to automatically generate some sort of log of all the database changes that are made via the Django shell in the production environment.
We use schema and data migration scripts to alter the production database and they are version controlled. Therefore if we introduce a bug, it's easy to track it back. But if a developer in the team changes the database via the Django shell which then introduces an issue, at the moment we can only hope that they remember what they did or/and we can find their commands in the Python shell history.
