First of all the prefix added to XmlNamespaceManager shouldn't include the xmlns part. Then you also need to add the prefix text besides draw because both will be used in the XPath expression for calling SelectSingleNode. Last, since the element isn't the root element you need to either specify full path starting from the root or start the XPath using // (the descendant-or-self axis) instead:

Power BI shape map is lagging/not working
            Asked 2021-Apr-30 at 08:50

I want to build a shape map in Power BI using postal area for Australia. I downloaded the Correspondence, 2011 Postal Area to 2016 Postal Area and converted it to json file type on mapshaper.

My data has a postcode column that looks like this:

and the map keys looks to be of the same format:

However, when I tried to plot the shape map by sales column (the value column), output looks like this

which doesn't zoom in. Is it because the data is too large? But there are only 300 rows in the table. How can I map out the areas by postcode?

No wonder your map loads slowly. You should simplify the map using Mapshaper. Start with that. There could be another cause of the slowness in your measure you put on the map color saturation. Start with the simplest possible measure such as SUM( Table[no of kangaroos] ), avoid SUMX or IF in that measure. You could use Daxstudio to check the performance of the measure.

React Native iOS: Allow rotation of pdf or other files while app orientation is locked to portrait
            Asked 2021-Mar-16 at 11:14

I have a react native app which is a chat application and users can share files and images with each other on chat, on clicking the file, the file opens in native view on top of the app, and since the app orientation is locked to potrait, the pdf does not rotate.

I tried to follow the native solution in this link - Only ONE VIEW landscape mode

but I cannot find in the code where the native view is being initialised.. Looking for help with this.

PS. I need the app orientation to be locked to portrait and want portait and landscape in os native pdf viewer.

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Mar-16 at 11:14

There are two solution you could try. Both require that you unlock the landscape orientation in your project configuration (Xcode and Android Manifest file), then:

            1. Replace your stack navigators with createNativeStackNavigator from react-native-screens/native-stack. This allows you to limit your orientation to portrait (passing in screenOptions={{ screenOrientation: 'portrait_up' }} to your navigator). The native document viewer should then rotate fine. Depending on its mode of presentation, however, it might require that the presenting screen allows rotation (which you might not want).

            2. Install react-native-orientation-locker or similar, and use it to lock orientation at app startup, unlock when document viewer is presented, and then lock when document viewer exits -- I'd say this is undesirable, because it might produce issues when transitioning away from the document viewer while in landscape (the previous screen will be shown in landscape before rotating back to portrait).

You can use https://grokdebug.herokuapp.com/ to debug the pattern you're going to use and you can copy some patterns from https://github.com/logstash-plugins/logstash-patterns-core/tree/master/patterns

Why is UIDocumentPickerViewController working on iOS, but showing the wrong folder on Mac Catalyst?
            Asked 2021-Jan-21 at 23:13

The code below works fine on an iPad or iPhone -- saveDocument() (see below) writes to /Users/me/Library/Containers/My-App/Data/Documents, and openDocument() shows me the content of that folder.

On macOS, however, openDocument() shows the Documents folder at the root level of iCloud Drive, not the sandboxed version, which is local to my computer

It's like the documentPickerVC.directoryURL is being ignored. Why is that?

If it helps, the documentURL looks like this:

            file:///Users/me/Library/Containers/org.me.My-App/Data/Documents/

So, the reason documentURL isn't working is because Apple doesn't support it: specifically, “ This property has no effect in Mac apps built with Mac Catalyst.”

During OAuth2 authentication (oauth2client.tools.run_flow), web browser does not respond (= issue) sometimes after user's consent. In the current stage, it seems that the issue depends on the browser. For example,

            • When Chrome is used, no issue occurs.
            • When Safari is used, such issue occurs.

Although I think that this issue might be resolved in the future update, as the current answer, it is considered that the issue depends on the browser.
