Answered 2019-Nov-13 at 20:05Only one QApplication instance exists in Qt, so you should never create and start to run another one. In fact, if you try to run the program in your IDE or from a shell/command prompt, it will probably return this before exiting:
QCoreApplication::exec: The event loop is already running
What you should actually do is create the Ui from the main script:
