QUESTION
I wish to move a large set of files from an AWS S3 bucket in one AWS account (source), having systematic filenames following this pattern:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 15:28You can use sort -V
command to consider the proper versioning of files and then invoke copy command on each file one by one or a list of files at a time.
ls | sort -V
If you're on a GNU system, you can also use ls -v
. This won't work in MacOS.

QUESTION
I am trying to run a test case which basically copies a file from my machine to a mock server running in docker. The same test works fine on Mac and Ubuntu. But on Windows it's getting failed with the following error:-
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Mar-31 at 11:29The remote path must be /
, not \
.
And the argument to createCopyCommand
cannot be Path
, as on Windows, that will translate the /
to \
.
QUESTION
I couldn't find an equivalent k8s cli command to do something like this, nor any ssh keys stored as k8s secrets. It also appears to do this in a cloud-agnostic fashion.
Is it just using a k8s pod with special privileges or something?
Edit: oops, it's open-source. I'll investigate and update this question accordingly

I am a member of my company organization. SSH keys associated with my account. Nothing works as expected. I am trying to push my branch
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 07:34First, make sure that https://github.com/mycomp/repo-pr does exist (meaning the case, uper or lower, of the URL is correct)
Second, check that you are correctly authenticated by GitHub through SSH:
QUESTION
When the Auto Scaling Group creates a new instances, the code from CodeDeploy is not downloaded and installed on a newly created EC2 instance.
I've followed the documentation here: https://docs.amazonaws.cn/en_us/codedeploy/latest/userguide/tutorials-auto-scaling-group-create-auto-scaling-group.html
And the last steps says
Install the CodeDeploy agent by following the steps in Install the CodeDeploy agent and using the Name=CodeDeployDemo instance tags.
My "user" script run on the new instance from the ASG (Auto Scaling Group) correctly installs and run the CodeDeploy agent (connecting to SSh to the machine and running a service codedeploy-agent status
shows its running), but from there, I don't know how to tell CodeDeploy to deploy the code to that instance. (Or to run CodePipeline for that instance?)
Could you help me point into the right direction on what to do here? I'm happy to provide any details that are lacking here if you need any!
Thank you!
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 04:54Based on the comments.
The issue of being stuck at:
Install the CodeDeploy agent by following the steps in Install the CodeDeploy agent and using the Name=CodeDeployDemo instance tags.
was simply resolved by skipping this step. It is not needed, as OP uses UserData
to setup CodeDeploy Agent.
QUESTION
I'm trying to set my HOME path in Windows 10:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-14 at 16:03Probably you're calling setx
from bash
. Since \
is an escape character in bash and most other Unix shells, it won't result in a literal backslash. You need to escape the backslash itself with \
or quote it with '

QUESTION
I am trying to get my robot to communicate with my PC via sockets by using local IP addresses on my own home network (not devices outside my network). The robot is acting as the server and my own PC is acting as the client/host. I don't really know what ports are open on my robot but I do definitely know that port 22 on the robot is open (which is the SSH port). The robot is a lego EV3 robot apart from it has had some ev3python software put onto it. When I run my program I am getting the following error on the server (my robot):

s.bind((hostIPAddress,22))#22 is the port number I am using. (THIS IS ALSO THE LINE WHERE THE ERROR IS COMING FROM)
s.listen(backlog)

QUESTION
I'm using Ubuntu 18.04 and it got stuck in 1~2 seconds when I push the tab button for auto-completion.
I've been trying to resolve this problem but I couldn't make it. I even changed my computer to the new one but it has same problem.
One weird thing is that when I connect my ubuntu with ssh in other pc(using teraterm or putty or other pc's ubuntu), the problem is gone and works well.
I don't know why.. Could it be a network problem? My ubuntu pc is behind the firewall and proxy but my companies' ubuntu next to me works well.
Is there anything suspicious to you?
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-07 at 09:02sudo updatedb
The database is rebuilt for auto completion.
Maybe check your hard disk health as this could be a hardware issue, and the disk is struggling to read, and the command is searching the database and taking longer to complete.

Install ssh
You can use ssh like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
