How to use complete.cases in gtsummary for each variable for doing a paired t.test instead doing complete.cases for full data frame?
            Asked 2022-Feb-01 at 09:39

I am trying to do a paired t.test on my data for pre-post analysis and uses gtsummary package to create the table. As I have missing data I filter the dataframe by complete.cases(.) but as it filter for all the columns I am loosing much data. Instead of that I want filter complete.cases() only for the particular variable it test for each time. Eg: if it is doing the test for variable1 it should check the complete.cases() for only variable1. Can someone please help me how to accomplish it? Following is the code I am using now.

You can use !is.na(variable) to drop rows with NA values only for specific variable.

            Welcome to SO!

You were a small step from the correct solution! In particular, the find_element_by_xpath() function returns a single element, but the similar function find_elements_by_xpath() (mind the plural) returns an iterable list, which you can use to implement a for loop.

How can I keep only unique values in the header and get values corresponding to these in different rows?
            Asked 2020-Jun-26 at 13:20

I have a link, and within that link, I have some products. Within each of these products, there is a table of specifications. The table is such that first column should be the header, and second column the data corresponding to it. The first column for each of these tables is different, with some overlapping categories. I want to get one big table that has all these categories, and in rows, the different products. I am able to get data for one table (one product) as follows:

Assuming that the headers are consistently the first row of each table, you just have to skip that row in every table but the first. A simple way to do that is to store the first row to process in a variable initialized to 0 and set it to 1 in the processing function. Possible code:

I've came up with a script that will ask what the user want to do and then show him the correct out put, the thing is, that my out put looks like a hashtable when, and I don't know what to do in order to group the output correctly and organize it by the process name

here is a part of the code:

Can I use the Google Fit API to push my own data via a CLI?
            Asked 2020-Apr-11 at 14:33

I want to connect an application (Oscar) to Google Fit to record my CPAP results.

Oscar is an application and not a mobile or web app, so I would have to push the data manually. It doesn't seem to be a difficult job, but I'm wondering if it's allowed. I can't see anything that forbids desktop applications or CLIs to interact with Google Fit, but I can't see anything that allows it either. The documentation only talks about websites and apps.

            ANSWER

            Answered 2020-Apr-11 at 14:33

There is no reason in general why a command-line application cannot write data to fit: it's ultimately all just data.

However, the fact you are trying to write data about a medical device means that you cannot use Fit. From the terms of use:

Google does not intend Google Fit to be a medical device. You may not use Google Fit in connection with any product or service that may qualify as a medical device pursuant to Section 201(h) of the Federal Food Drug & Cosmetic (FD&C) Act.

            Install CPAP

You can download it from GitHub.
You can use CPAP like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
