kandi X-RAY | attachment Summary
The goal of attachment is to help to deal with package dependencies during package development. It also gives useful tools to install or list missing packages used inside Rscripts or Rmds. When building a package, we have to add @importFrom in our documentation or pkg::fun in the R code. The most important is not to forget to add the list of dependencies in the “Imports” or “Suggests” package lists in the DESCRIPTION file. Why do you have to repeat twice the same thing ? And what happens when you remove a dependency for one of your functions ? Do you really want to run a “Find in files” to verify that you do not need this package anymore ?. Let {attachment} help you ! This reads your NAMESPACE, your functions in R directory and your vignettes, then update the DESCRIPTION file accordingly. Are you ready to be lazy ?. QUESTION
I've come across an issue of trying to fade the edges of the background image of a div so that it looks like it's blending with the background image of the full site (so the background image applied to the body).
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-16 at 02:49You can use the background as gradient where the edges are rgba(0,0,0,0). This way it will smoothly blend with background. But this will not work for images. For images You will have to a div of background color and rgba(0,0,0,0) in gradient with color facing outward.
QUESTION
I've got a Rails 5.2 application using ActiveStorage and S3 but I've been having intermittent timeout issues. I'm also just a bit more comfortable with shrine from another app.
I've been trying to create a rake task to just loop through all the records with ActiveStorage attachments and reupload them as Shrine attachments, but I've been having a few issues.
I've tried to do it through URL and through tempfiles, but I'm not exactly sure of the right steps to fetch the activestorage version and to get it uploaded to S3 and saved on the record as a shrine attachment.
I've tried the rake task here, but I think the method is only available on rails 6.
Any tips or suggestions?

Answered 2021-Jun-16 at 01:10I'm sure it's not the most efficient, but it worked.
QUESTION
I am working on a project where I get emails with a specific 'subject'. There are forwarded to me by users. The body consists of text but in the original email and no new text is entered above the forwarded line. There are also attachments to either of the part of the email.
I wrote the following code using python and IMAP and am able to store attachments and body only if the email is NEW and not a forwarded email.
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 22:07Seems like you already have the part where you are extracting the attachments. Try this code to retrieve the body of a multipart email.
You may have to figure out how to merge your part with this one.
QUESTION
I'm attempting to write a scraper that will download attachments from an outlook account when I specify the path to folder to download from. I have working code but the folder locations are hardcoded as below:-
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 20:37You can do this as a reduction over foldernames
using getattr
to dynamically get the next attribute.
QUESTION
The following code does everything I want: pulls email, saves attachments, extracts files EXCEPT save the original email to the folder fDest. I seem unable to see the solution.
This seems to be the problematic line as it won't save the email: "mi.SaveAs fDest2, olMSG"
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 19:38You must be sure there are no invalid characters in the filename. See What characters are forbidden in Windows and Linux directory names? for more information. So, I'd suggest using the Replace
method available in VBA before passing anything to the SaveAs
method.
Another point is that you need to specify unique file names to each email. Make sure the generated file name is unique for a folder.
