The package was developed by Philippe Marchand, Ian Carroll, and Quentin Read, with Mike Smorul and Rachael Blake contributing. Erick Verleye is the current maintainer. As of January 2023 the University of Colorado Boulder's Earth Lab adopted rslurm and is responsible for all future maintenance.
