There are two approaches that are possible. The first is to use a suborchestrator for each job so that each suborchestrator handles just a specific job. Here is the docs for this approach https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-functions/durable/durable-functions-sub-orchestrations?tabs=csharp Example from docs seem to be alike to yours.

The other is to use ContinueWith so that each job has its own "chain"

I receive the error when triggering a cloud function using the gcloud command from terminal:

            gcloud functions call function_name

On the cloud function log page no error is shown and the task is finished with no problem, however, after the task is finished this error shows up on the terminal.

gcloud crashed (ReadTimeout): HTTPSConnectionPool(host='cloudfunctions.googleapis.com', port=443): Read timed out. (read timeout=300)

Note: my function time out is set to 540 second and it takes ~320 seconds to finish the job

I think the issue is that gcloud functions call times out after 300 seconds and is non-configurable for a longer timeout to match the Cloud Function.

I created a simple Golang Cloud Function:

            A few notes:

            • job callbacks accept exactly one argument of type CallbackContext. Not two.
            • the job_kwargs parameter is used to pass keywoard argument to the APScheduler backend, on which JobQueue is built. The way you're trying to use it doesn't work.
            • if you want to know only the chat_id in the job, you don't have to pass the whole context argument of search_msgs. Just do context.job_queue.run_once(..., context=chat_id,...)
            • if you want to pass both the chat_id and context.args you can e.g. pass them as tuple:

You are using cmake. The makefiles generated by cmake don't conform to "standard" makefile conventions; in particular they don't use the CXXFLAGS variable.

When you're using cmake, you're not expected to modify the compiler options by changing the invocation of make. Instead, you're expected to modify the compiler options by either editing the CMakeLists.txt file, or else by providing an overridden value to the cmake command line that is used to generate your makefiles.

Find total count of success and failed records
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 15:47

I have to formulate SQL Query to display total success and failed device processing. Suppose User selects 2 devices and runs some process. Each Process which user triggers will spawn 4 jobs (1 devices has 2 jobs to run). Since here user select 2 devices so 4 records comes in db. Now based on ParentTaskId I need to display total successfull, failed jobs with total devices.

We count a job on a device as success only when both jobs(Type 1,Type 2) are success.

You can use two levels of aggregation -- the inner one to get the status per parent and device. For this, you can actually use min(taskStatus) to get the status:

The INT(11) AUTO INCREMENT primary key is "job_number" in my MySQL database.

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 06:17

Pythons multiprocessing package is limited to shared memory parallelization. It spawns new processes that all have access to the main memory of a single machine.

You cannot simply scale out such a software onto multiple nodes. As the different machines do not have a shared memory that they can access.

To run your program on multiple nodes at once, you should have a look into MPI (Message Passing Interface). There is also a python package for that.

Depending on your task, it may also be suitable to run the program 4 times (so one job per node) and have it work on a subset of the data. It is often the simpler approach, but not always possible.
