kandi X-RAY | WebMutex Summary

WebMutex is a Ruby library. WebMutex has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities and it has low support. You can download it from GitHub.

This is a quick and dirty proof of concept kind. It uses Ruby, haml and sinatra. It's probably hideous. You're probably thinking "Damn dude, why would you do that?" Well I have to test a web app that only allows one login at a time. If someone else logs into the web app at the same time, I get kicked out. This is a "feature.". I host all my tests on Hudson and currently control access with some lock plugin or other. However, I only need to log in to my webapp for a brief period of time for each test, then I'm done with it. If I use the hudson lock thingy, all my tests that use the webapp have to run serially. So I thought, "Ok, well what if I deploy a web service somewhere that uses a mutex semaphore to enforce access to my web resources?" This attempts to do that, and it seems to work.
