BotDog is a Tamagotchi style game, written in Ruby and executed from the command line giving users a pet dog to feed, pat and play with. BotDog utilies gems that are Mac dependent and will not function on other operating systems. BotDog has only been tested on Mac OS Mojave version 10.14.6. The following Ruby Gems are required and are included in the Gemfile. How to Install and Run. Alternatively, you can run the application with the bash script supplied in the source code. The script will check that your operating system is OS X, set your volume to 50% and give you a default user name. To do so you will need to run the following line of code before running the bash script. Then run the bash script.
