kandi X-RAY | encoded_attachment Summary

encoded_attachment is a Ruby library typically used in Utilities, Ruby On Rails applications. encoded_attachment has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities, it has a Permissive License and it has low support. You can download it from GitHub.

This is the bestest and certainly the easiest way to handle file uploads/downloads to [Paperclip] Active Record-backed resources using Active Resource. Rather than trying to create a multipart form submission, it just embeds the file’s binary data in the Active Record model’s to_xml. You can also embed binary data into XML to POST or PUT using Active Resource. These tags will automatically be parsed by Active Record and Active Resource to create files.

Python Class returning an empty dictionary
            Asked 2020-Jul-22 at 13:46

Newbie needing some help making code object-oriented.

I am trying to write a class with different methods for processing XML files. One of these methods has a goal of returning a dictionary with the embedded attachment's filename and the encoded datastring as key and value respectively.

I have managed to get this to work outside of the class:
