            If you are upgrading your Laravel 8 project to Laravel 9 by importing your existing application code into a totally new Laravel 9 application skeleton, you may need to update your application's "trusted proxy" middleware.

            Within your app/Http/Middleware/TrustProxies.php file, update use Fideloper\Proxy\TrustProxies as Middleware to use Illuminate\Http\Middleware\TrustProxies as Middleware.

            Next, within app/Http/Middleware/TrustProxies.php, you should update the $headers property definition:

            // Before...

            protected $headers = Request::HEADER_X_FORWARDED_ALL;

            // After...

            Use ESM syntax, also use one of these methods before running the file.

            1. specify "type":"module" in package.json
            2. Or use this flag --input-type=module when running the file
            3. Or use .mjs file extension

            Android studio - Generate signed APKs broke
            Asked 2022-Mar-15 at 13:50

            I just updated my Android studio to the version 2021.1.1 Canary 12. After struggling to make it work, I had to also upgrade my Gradle and Gradle plugin to 7.0.2. Now I can compile my project and launch my app on my mobile, everything is working. But when I try to generate a Signed APK, I get a strange message after building telling me: APK(s) generated successfully for module 'android-mobile-app-XXXX.app' with 0 build variants:

            Even though the build seem to be successful I cannot find the generated APK anywhere (and considering the time it takes to give me that error, I don't even think it is building anything). Now, I have been generating an APK every week for years now, so I know my way around the folders, the different build variant output folders etc... Nothing changed in my way of generating an APK. I do it via AS and follow the very standard procedure.

            Can someone point to me what am I missing here? I assume there is a way to select a specific build variant when generating a signed APK, how does it works?

            PS: Obviously, I am selecting my variant here during the process:

            PS2: I can generate a debug APK without any issue whatsoever.

            I found a workaround: You should press shift 2 times to open search everything and type "Virtual Device Manager". This way you can open it

            A simple question: is enum { a } e = 1; valid?

            In other words: does assigning a value, which isn't present in the set of values of enumeration constants, lead to well-defined behavior?

            Demo:

            ANSWER

            Answered 2022-Feb-05 at 14:09

            From the C18 standard in 6.7.2.2:

            Each enumerated type shall be compatible with char, a signed integer type, or an unsigned integer type. The choice of type is implementation-defined, but shall be capable of representing the values of all the members of the enumeration.

            So yes enum { a } e = 1; is valid. e is a 'integer' type so it can take the value 1. The fact that 1 is not present as an enumeration value is no issue. The enumeration members only give handy identifiers for some of possible values.

            Go to your package.json file and delete as many dependencies as you can until the project builds successfully. Then start adding back the dependencies one by one to detect which ones have troubles.

            Then you can manually patch those dependencies by acceding them on node_modules/[dependencie]/android/build.gradle and setting androidx.core:core-ktx: or androidx.core:core: to a specific version (1.6.0 in my case).

            I was using kotlinCompilerExtensionVersion = versions.composeVersion in my app's build.gradle file and this is incorrect. versions.composeVersion is something provided by Gradle but it seems to be deprecated. Oneself should manually write the version which they're using there.

Can you make them all pass without breaking any of the rules? Use bundle install to set up RSpec, then just type rspec to run the specs. (To use autotest, run gem install ZenTest and then autotest.). If you are afraid, the story branch contains a series of commits which fill out the implementation until all the specs pass.
