Match multiple strings with set values across data frames in R

I have one dataset with words transcribed in ARPABET such as below:

You can get the data in long format using separate_rows and join it with ref to get corresponding value. For each word, we can then sum the value together.

How can I search the CMU pronunciation dictionary to see if a certain arpabet pronunciation exists?
            Asked 2019-Nov-17 at 02:08

Given a list of arpabet tokens which encode a random utterance, I want to be able to see if the arpabet string is actually in the CMU pronunciation dict. If it is, I also want the word it matched with in the dictionary.

Is there any way I could do this in python?

Not sure if you want to do this using CMU Sphinx in Python or by yourself, but I've come up with a reasonable solution anyways. Here's the code:

How do I find a partial string matching the latter half of the word using mysql?
            Asked 2017-Jan-10 at 07:17

Hello I'm creating a word rhymer for complete words but I'm stuck on the logic.

I imported the cmu dictionary text into two columns, word and arpabet. And this is what I have so far:

If you're trying to get words that match the sound, then I believe you should match with the column arpabet and not with word.
