kandi X-RAY | ruby Summary
This ruby image is built around the idea that it does not contain the site itself, rather the site will be mounted to the home/site/wwwroot directory. The site is assumed to have packaged gems in the vendor/bundle folder and gems cached in vendor/cache. These steps are taken care of in Kudu during deployment. In app service, the site exists on a shared volume and is mounted to into the container on each worker.

QUESTION
I am trying to contribute to a Github Page/Jekyll site and want to be able to visualise changes locally but when I run bundle exec jekyll serve
but I get this output:
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Feb-02 at 16:29I had the same problem and I found a workaround here at https://github.com/jekyll/jekyll/issues/8523
Add gem "webrick"
to the Gemfile in your website. Than run bundle install
At this point you can run bundle exec jekyll serve
For me it works!
QUESTION
How to remove VIM (completely) and change my mac command line editor to sublime?
I've spent the last three hours reading the same links on "how to remove VIM" only to get "how to remove MacVIM and reinstall it fresh" Or "How to remove Vim so I can reinstall it on Ubuntu"
My old laptop was fortunate to have a friend remove it but my new machine still has it installed.
I wish VIM would die in "words redacted to excessive profanity" dumpster fire while a hobo "words redacted to excessive profanity" to put out the fire
I've lost way too many hours trying to learn that outdated neckbeard elvish piece of UX trash so I want it gone. No, I'm not touching emacs.
Please tell me there is a way I can switch to sublime or am I permanently cursed to have this confusing black screen of death pop up when I try to git push or git tag stuff?
My original goal was to tag a git and push it but vim comes up and I can't figure out how to speak elvish.
I've been using PyCharm for a few years and love the interface but I need to dig deeper and a TDD Django book for class uses the terminal, it wants me to git -a "comments" so I need your advice.
So now I can't learn TDD Django because vim, MacVim and eMacs users flood the internet but I can't remove it nor figure out how to work it.
I've tried brew uninstall macvim
which doesn't work because I have vim not macvim
I also tried sudo uninstall vim
no luck as this is zsh mac not ubuntu
I tried brew uninstall vim
to get No available formula or cask with the name "vim"
I've searched SO five times and keep getting the same links.
Alternates I've tried
brew uninstall ruby vim
per this post https://superuser.com/questions/1096438/brew-upgrade-broke-vim-on-os-x-dyld-library-not-loaded I tried, no luck.

Answered 2021-Jun-14 at 21:41You don't have to remove Vim from your machine. Instead, tell your system and your tools to use Sublime Text as default editor. After you have followed that tutorial, which I must point out is part of Sublime Text's documentation, you should have a system-wide subl
command that you can use instead of vim
. For that, you need to add those lines to your shell configuration file:

I ran bundle update rails
and got this. I'm stumped. If activerecord-session_store
2.0 depends on a version of actionpack
between 5.2.4.1 and above, and if actionpack is a dependency of Rails 6, shouldn't this be ok?

QUESTION
I'm running gitlab-ce on-prem with min.io as a local S3 service. CI/CD caching is working, and basic connectivity with the S3-compatible minio is good. (Versions: gitlab-ce:13.9.2-ce.0
, gitlab-runner:v13.9.0
, and minio/minio:latest
currently c253244b6fb0
.)
Is there additional configuration to differentiate between job-artifacts and pipeline-artifacts and storing them in on-prem S3-compatible object storage?
In my test repo, the "build" stage builds a sparse R package. When I was using local in-gitlab job artifacts, it succeeds and moves on to the "test" and "deploy" stages, no problems. (And that works with S3-stored cache, though that configuration is solely within gitlab-runner
.) Now that I've configured minio as a local S3-compatible object storage for artifacts, though, it fails.

Answered 2021-Jun-14 at 18:30The answer is to bypass the empty-string test; the underlying protocol does not support region-less configuration, nor is there a configuration option to support it.
The trick is able to work because the use of 'endpoint'
causes the 'region'
to be ignored. With that, setting the region to something and forcing the endpoint allows it to work:

I'm using the Ruby SDK for AWS ECS to kick-off a task hosted in Fargate via run_task
method. This all works fine with the defaults — I can kick off the task OK and can send along custom command parameters to my Docker container:
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-14 at 09:28This was a bug of the SDK, now fixed (server-side, so doesn't require a library update).
The block of code in the question is the correct way for increasing ephemeral storage via the Ruby SDK:

The current setup works find when i check/uncheck boxes and submit to server.
however, when the page reloads or when i go to edit, the page loads fine and the checkbox is checking the right entries like this...
The problem here is when i click submit without touching any values, the array is submitted empty permission_ids: []

and i can't do this automatically when i page loads since i'm new to Angular
So the issue here as i understand, that the checkboxes are checked but the value of the form isn't updated.

I'm struggling to get the Pact Broker running in a docker container to connect to my local installation of PostgreSQL on Windows.
This is what my docker run command looks like...
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-13 at 10:42I think what's happening here is that you've put the container name before the environment argument list to the docker run
command.
So instead of setting the PACT_BROKER_DATABASE_NAME
and other environment variables for the running container with your custom values, they are simply being discarded by the runtime.
Try this instead:

When making a query to Azure B2C Graph API for retrieving a specific user, I noticed that sometimes no result will be returned, but an HTTP 200 code is returned back from the Graph API server. Our server creates a Graph API token every time we need to make a call to Graph API (will be handled in the future, but this could be why I'm getting the issue below).
The majority of these issues are occurring during our integration tests, which are written in Python.
First, we create the user in Azure B2C:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-13 at 07:40This is a globally distributed service and you are hitting a different DC where the user has not replicated to. It can take some seconds till the user appears across all DCs in the region.
This is the expected behaviour and you must architect a solution with this in mind. You can use retry logic but ideally you do not perform a GET subsequent to a POST/PATCH operation.
Ideally you orchestrate sign up through AAD B2C policies which do not have this issue.
