Install git-utils
Simply clone this repository, and put it in your path. Make sure bash considers the git-* files executable. To enable bash completion, copy or link the files from this repository's bash_completion.d to /etc/bash_completion.d. An install script, install-git-utils-bash-completion, is provided for convenience. Note: All commands assume you are using a terminal and tools that supports ANSI color; if they are redirected, ANSI color is preserved. Some command line tools, such as less, support this with command line flags, but other tools, especially editors, may have a problem with that. If you are using these commands and redirecting output, I suggest using something like strip-ansi to remove these color codes.
