            QUESTION

"Labelling" the tick marks in ggplot2?
            Asked 2020-Apr-27 at 18:08

I wanted to make a plot to help people understand the different pieces of a plot in ggplot2. I am still mid-draft, but I am currently struggling on labeling the axis.ticks because they are off the plot. Intuitively I thought I could do this with cowplot::add_sub, but I'm having some trouble.

You can set x to -Inf to point to the y-axis ticks or y = -Inf to point to the x-axis ticks.
