            ioBroker on Win10
            Asked 2021-Oct-31 at 16:41

            all!

What am I doing wrong or what am I missing? I try to install ioBroker on a Win10 server. I'll append a (kind of) log from the PowerShell session below.

Additional: There is a Visual Studio 2019 Community and a Visual Studio Code installed. I have not much experience with the Windows Build Tools (using VB.Net and C# until now), but it seems to me as if they are installed. I have installed Node.JS (including NPM) and NVM, using Node.JS 16.13.0.

I get no errors installing ioBroker, but no function either. It seems to me as if at least something is installed, getting all the subdirs below /iobroker, esp. the /iobroker/node_modules/iobroker subdir. But there is no service to start with "net start iobroker".

The error message you are seeing in this case is accurate.

First, in this part, you are initializing image with a file string / Buffer instance.

I'm trying to setup a MACVLAN for my docker containers. I have a fresh Raspbian and Docker installation and followed the steps outlined to the Docker Documentation to create a MACVLAN: https://docs.docker.com/network/network-tutorial-macvlan.

            The Network looks as follows:

actually I have the same issue since Friday last week.

If I ping the host trying to access the docker container, from the inside of the container (your alpine container), I can access the container from the outside, till I restart the container itself.

I know this is not a solution but maybe helps to identify the issue.

            Install ioBroker

ioBroker.js-controller should run on any hardware and OS that runs Node.js (ARM, x86, Windows, Linux, OSX). ioBroker spawns a new Node.js process for every adapter instance, so RAM becomes a limiting factor. A single adapters memory fingerprint is roundabout 10 to 60 MB.
