I'm using bootstrap vue table and I've want to export a bootstrap table to excel or pdf. It's like a table inside a table and I'm finding it difficult as to how to export it for downloading as excel or pdf as the other solutions I have come around are all involve just giving the json data and it does the work but can't find any solution regarding my problem.

Answered 2022-Mar-25 at 17:28You have this package: https://www.npmjs.com/package/xlsx
In your html, create a button and with the @click="exportInvoiceButton()"
. That's one of the way you can do it in Frontend, but, alternatively, and probably the best way to do this export is from the backend, so you can have more flexibility of what to export.
QUESTION
I am working on submitting an R package to CRAN. Right now I am trying to reduce the memory footprint of the package. Because this package deals with spatial data that has a very particular format, I want to include a properly formatted shapefile as an example. If I include the full-size original shapefile, there are no warnings (other than file size) in the R CMD checks. However, if I crop the file and include the cropped version in the package (in "inst/extdata") I get this warning:

QUESTION
I have a local python project called jive
that I would like to use in an another project. My current method of using jive
in other projects is to activate the conda env for the project, then move to my jive
directory and use python setup.py install
. This works fine, and when I use conda list
, I see everything installed in the env including jive
, with a note that jive
was installed using pip.
But what I really want is to do this with full conda. When I want to use jive
in another project, I want to just put jive
in that projects environment.yml
.
So I did the following:
- write a simple
meta.yaml
so I could use conda-build to buildjive
locally - build jive with
conda build .
- I looked at the tarball that was produced and it does indeed contain the
jive
source as expected - In my other project, add jive to the dependencies in
environment.yml
, and add 'local' to the list of channels. - create a conda env using that environment.yml.
When I activate the environment and use conda list
, it lists all the dependencies including jive
, as desired. But when I open python interpreter, I cannot import jive
, it says there is no such package. (If use python setup.py install
, I can import it.)
How can I fix the build/install so that this works?
Here is the meta.yaml, which lives in the jive
project top level directory:
ANSWER
Answered 2022-Feb-05 at 04:16The immediate error is that the build is generating a Python 3.10 version, but when testing Conda doesn't recognize any constraint on the Python version, and creates a Python 3.9 environment.
I think the main issue is that python >=3.5
is only a valid constraint when doing noarch
builds, which this is not. That is, once a package builds with a given Python version, the version must be constrained to exactly that version (up through minor). So, in this case, the package is built with Python 3.10, but it reports in its metadata that it is compatible with all versions of Python 3.5+, which simply isn't true because Conda Python packages install the modules into Python-version-specific site-packages
(e.g., lib/python-3.10/site-packages/jive
).
Typically, Python versions are controlled by either the --python
argument given to conda-build
or a matrix supplied by the conda_build_config.yaml
file (see documentation on "Build variants").
Try adjusting the meta.yaml
to something like
QUESTION
I have a small page with a blurred background image. On top of that, I have divs set up as cards that have their transparent overlay on a background image. I'm trying to set up a text effect using blending modes without taking into account the overlay.
The text effect I want to replicate is at this codepen: https://codepen.io/thebabydino/pen/JNWqLL
Specifically, I want to replicate the example on the left, where the drop shadow is inverted along with the text, and the text is the invert of the image underneath.
In my attempts to do so, I have been unable to get the blend mode effect to ignore the opaque layer and only focus on the image.
The point of the opaque layer is to help the text stand out more, but it seems to be having the opposite effect as it influences the blending, making everything darker.
The text is only orange because it is being constantly inverted due to the darker opaque layer and ignoring the image underneath completely.
This is my attempt so far:

Answered 2022-Jan-07 at 08:52The semi transparent overlay will always add shade to entire card. We can have same image in the overlay and fade it there.

My objective is to write a CLI in Typescript/node.js, that uses --experimental-specifier-resolution=node
, written in yargs with support for autocompletion.
To make this work, I use this entry.sh
file, thanks to this helpful SO anwswer (and the bin: {eddy: "./entry.sh"}
options in package.json points to this file)
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Dec-30 at 11:05You can try specifying the scriptName in your entry.js
file to the name of your wrapper script. This may force generation of completion name using it. I haven't tried it but looking at the source code of yargs, it looks like the $0
parameter can be altered using scriptName
, which in turn will affect how the completion-generation function generate the completion code:
In yargs-factor.ts

I just updated my Mac M1 to Big Sur 11.5.2 and something in VSCode seems to have broken. I am unable to use the latest home-brew php which is installed.
In VSCode its pointing to /usr/bin/php which is Macs built in php, that's not the one im using with home-brew. I tried everything and changed the path but still the same thing.
I checked the one similar question to mine and all it suggests is to use Homebrew which I already am doing so Im not sure what I am doing wrong here.
I am running PHPUnit tests in the VSCode terminal and I am getting the following error:

QUESTION
For a Belgian sports community project, built in ASP.Net Core, I am dynamically rendering an image in C#. The image is based on a "base picture", in which I dynamically add Text and then return the image to the client.
It works well, and I am quite happy with the results.
However, when I compare the image that is generated client side, on my dev environment (which is MacOS), that image renders more beautiful, compared to my production environment (a Linux VM in the Azure platform).
As a comparison, you can see two pictures, and you will see the difference, when looking at the texts. The text strings look much more pixelated, in the second picture.
Is there something I can do, to avoid this? Could this be related to the (un)availability of a GPU, or something like that?
Any insights are welcome.
(I also have added the Nuget package runtime.osx.10.10-x64.CoreCompat.System.Drawing
to my project, which was needed to run successfully on my MacOS)
For reference: the relevant code snippet:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Dec-23 at 21:38Don't use System.Drawing
. Microsoft itself warns against this in the documentation. It exists in .NET Core only for compatibility
In .NET 6 and later versions, the System.Drawing.Common package, which includes this type, is only supported on Windows operating systems. Use of this type in cross-platform apps causes compile-time warnings and run-time exceptions. For more information, see System.Drawing.Common only supported on Windows.
The linked article explains what's wrong and offers several cross-platform alternatives like ImageSharp and SkiaSharp.
System.Drawing
's primary job is to draw the UI on the screen anyway, not manipulate images. On Windows it's just a very thin wrapper over GDI+. The equivalent cross-platform technology is MAUI, which hasn't been released yet.
The equivalent code in ImageSharp could be:

I recently went through a tutorial on building a menu that I wanted to use for a site I'm putting together. The functionality seems to be working but the issue I'm having is with the 'leftIcon' for the 'My Profile' section. I believe the 'leftIcon' is only meant to take a *.svg file and was wondering how I would go about seeing the imported {avatar} .jpg as the left icon.
I have attached a copy of the files below and really appreciate any input on the matter.
