QUESTION
I have basically this very odd type of data frame:
The first column is the name of the States (say I have 3 states), the second to the last column (say I have 5 columns) contains some values recorded at different dates (not continuous). I want to create a graph that plots the values for each State on the range of the dates that starts from the earliest and end in the latest dates (continuous).
The table looks like this:
state 2020-01-01 2020-01-05 2020-01-06 2020-01-10 AZ NA 0.078 -0.06 NA AK 0.09 NA NA 0.10 MS 0.19 0.21 NA 0.38"NA" means there is not data.
How do I produce this graph in which the x axis is from 2020-01-01 to 2020-01-10 (continuous), the y axis contains the changing values (as points) of the three States, each state occupies its separate (segmented) y-axis?
Thank you.

Answered 2021-Jun-16 at 03:41You can get the data into a long format, which makes it easier to plot. R will make it difficult to read column names that start with a number. While reading the data, ensure that you have check.names = FALSE
so that column names are read as is.

QUESTION
I'm writing a Firebase function (Gist) which
Queries a realtime database ref (events) in the following fashion:
await admin.database().ref('/events_geo').once('value').then(snapshots => {
Iterates through all the events
snapshots.forEach(snapshot => {
Events are filtered by a criteria for further processing
Several queries are fired off towards realtime DB to get details related to the event
await database().ref("/ratings").orderByChild('fk_event').equalTo(snapshot.key).once('value').then(snapshots => {
Data is prepared for SendGrid and the processing is finished
All of the data processing works perfectly fine but I can't get the outer await (point 1 in my list) to wait for the inner awaits (queries towards realtime DB) and thus when SendGrid should be called the data is empty. The data arrives a little while later. Example output from Firebase function logs can be seen below:
10:54:12.642 AM Function execution started
10:54:13.945 AM There are no emails to be sent in afterEventHostMailGoodRating
10:54:14.048 AM There are no emails to be sent in afterEventHostMailBadRating
10:54:14.052 AM Function execution took 1412 ms, finished with status: 'ok'
10:54:14.148 AM
Super hyggelig aften :)
super oplevelse, ... long string generated
Gist showing the function in question
I'm probably mixing up my async/awaits because of the awaits inside the await. But I don't see how else the code could be written without splitting it out into many atomic pieces but that would still require stitching a bunch of awaits together and make it harder to read.
So, two questions in total. Can this code work and what would be the ideal way to handle this pattern of making further processing on top of data fetched from Realtime DB?
Best regards, Simon

QUESTION
I use LocalMapTileDataSource
and would like to apply custom opacity for tile's images.
As I found there is no way to make it on fly?
Here is my code.
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 18:55When you load a tile from a PNG like this, it reads the opacity from each pixel in the PNG. If you want to change the opacity, you would need to update the PNG alpha values in each pixel. There's currently no way to set a global opacity value on an entire tile layer as this would conflict with the opacity information already present in the bitmap.
QUESTION
Trying to use Impact font in my html email, which is working fine in Outlook 365 windows and web clients, as well as Gmail client in browser, but the iOS native Mail app, Gmail app and Outlook apps all default back to arial. What am I missing?
Here's the table in question. Class is leftover from a MS port, and I'm leaving it in in the hopes that it improves mso performance, but all it's really doing is setting default font-family, font-size and margin (0).
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 05:24Impact may not be 'websafe' then, as it appears to NOT be installed on Androids and iOS (mobile), otherwise it would work. Unless the class "MsoNormal" has a different font-family on it. (I would remove that, it's not necessary or related to performance.)
If that fails, you'll need you to use @font-face
to load it in from a public website. Keep in mind @font-face
is not supported on everything: https://www.caniemail.com/features/css-at-font-face/
As a fallback, you might like to use a similar font, via Google Fonts which is already setup for this: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Anton
But to make it work on absolutely everything, you'll need to save it as an image, and load in as

QUESTION
I have Windows 10 Pro Version 21H1 Build 19043.1052.
I have followed the guide in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/wsl/install-win10#step-4---download-the-linux-kernel-update-package and in Win 10 WSL won't set default 2 to get wsl. And I want to upgrade to version 2. I installed the regular Ubuntu from the Microsoft app store. And I did wsl --setdefault Ubuntu
followed by wsl --set-default-version 2
and it only gave me For information on key differences with WSL 2 please visit https://aka.ms/wsl2
. But wsl -l -v
was still showing VERSION 1.
So I went an installed Ubuntu-20.04 LTS
and now that version is showing VERSION 2 but not the regular Ubuntu
one.
How can I get them both to version 2?
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 15:47When you do --set-default-version
, you're setting the version for future distributions that you install. That doesn't convert or change any current distros you have installed. So for your existing Ubuntu
distro that is version 1, you should use the wsl --set-version
command to convert it to version 2 or revert back to version 1.

I'm trying to use golang to do CURD operation in Azure Cosmos db using github.com/vippsas/go-cosmosdb package.
Everything works fine except trying to Create、Replace documents with chinese character in the x-ms-documentdb-partitionkey.
Document sample data, partition key is /method
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 09:35Azure Cosmos db is only supporting Unicode or ASCII in x-ms-documentdb-partitionkey while github.com/vippsas/go-cosmosdb package is using json.Marshal which internally transforms Unicode to Chinese characters automatically.
The only way to solve it is using English as partition key when creating documents.
