How do I use a Transaction in a Reactive Flow in Spring Integration?
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 18:32

I am querying a database for an item using R2DBC and Spring Integration. I want to extend the transaction boundary a bit to include a handler - if the handler fails I want to roll back the database operation. But I'm having difficulty even establishing transactionality explicitly in my integration flow. The flow is defined as

Well, it's indeed not possible that declarative way since we don't have hook for injecting to the reactive type in the middle on that level.

VBA - NULL values in Listview
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 17:10

I've created a simple VBA interface to connect Excel to a MySQL DB. The VBA part acts as a preview of data for the user to choose what item he wants to import to the Excel sheet.

Until now I've work with a very complete set of data, but I got to a Table which (because of the nature of the items) some fields are NULL.

Now every time I try to check the values in the VBA I get the Run-time error 13 Type mismatch in the listview component. At first I though it was a field with DECIMAL typing, but after changing it to a DOUBLE (for testing) the problem persisted, and it was until I notice that if only checks columns with no NULL value, the problem disappears. Off course I can't omit this values.

I tried some .Tostring functions but with no success. And I failed to implement a IF to check for NULL in the obj.

            This is my code:

If you don't want to add a IsNull-function in you SQL (as Nathan_Sav suggested as a comment): There is a IsNull-function in VBA. With that, you can create a simple function that returns for example an empty string (or a 0 or whatever you prefer):

Preventing spoofing attack - how to ensure my client receives orders from the real server?
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 16:51

I'm working on a Chrome extension that integrates with a website. My users can do actions on this website when they are logged in to it.

I have a Socket.IO server that delivers commands to my Chrome extension. Once a command arrived, the extension invokes a local function from the host website. Then, the host website, which has an authenticated active session with its own API, will invoke some update/insert call.

I recently realized a potential security issue, which is - if anyone spoofs my server address on my extension clients organization, he can easily abuse it to send his own parameters on behalf of my server (image 2).

Is there any smart way to ensure my client communicates with the real server and not an imposter?

            Use HTTPS secured connection.

This is one of the features of HTTPS (SSL/TLS) - it can prevent a MITM attack and prevent the destination server from being impersonated.

            Explain
            • Why it works on Postman and not on the client code?

The difference is the format of the request. In Postman, you're sending the data as JSON object. While in the client code, you're sending data inside a form-data. They are different. That's why the req.body is empty. Different request formats require the server to parse in different ways.

            Action

I see in your code the line //formData.append("thumbnail", newProject.thumbnail); is commented, you prepare to send the project's thumbnail in the request. In this case, you cannot send the request in JSON format. You need to modify the server to make it understand the form data.

For this, I recommend this popular package

Multer is a node.js middleware for handling multipart/form-data, which is primarily used for uploading files.

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 07:47

The problem exists inside the for loop. In your loop you have a button with an attribute data-bs-target="#exampleModal". That means all rows in your table will have the same button which triggers the modal with id exampleModal. All these button will call the same modal.

Apart from this, each order generates a modal with a specific id exampleModal. So all modals have the same id. That's why you always open the first modal. Each modal must have a unique id

To fix this problem, you should give unique ids to modals, for example
