QUESTION
I am making a simulation with C (for perfomance) that (currently) uses recursion and mallocs (generated in every step of the recursion). The problem is that I am not being able to free the mallocs anywhere in the code, without having the wrong final output. The code consist of two functions and the main function:
evolution(double initial_energy)
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-13 at 04:47You're supposed to free memory right after the last time it will be used. In your program, after the while
loop in recursion
, Energy
isn't used again, so you should free it right after that (i.e., right before return event_counter;
).

QUESTION
Hello my favorite people!
I am trying to send an email after submitting a form, with the AUTO INCREMENT number attached to the email because the AUTO INCREMENT number is the clients Job Card Reference Number. So far i have successfully created the insert script which inserts the data into the database perfectly, and also sends the email too. But does not attach the AUTO INCREMENT number into the email. The INT(11) AUTO INCREMENT primary key is "job_number" in my MySQL database.
Here is my insert page:

QUESTION
I am not sure how to extract multiple pages from a search result using Pythons Wikipedia plugin. Some advice would be appreciated.
My code so far:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 13:10You have done the hard part, the results are already in the results
variable.
But the results need parsing by the wiki.page()
nethod, which only takes one argument.
The solution? Use a loop to parse all results one by one.
The easiest way will be using for loops, but the list comprehension method is the best.
Replace the last two lines with the following:

QUESTION
I'm trying to sort my rows according to the Status (B), according to a custom order. I used to have Status in A, and the code worked fine, but then wanted to add an additional column before it and everything's been scuppered. Now getting a 1004 error.
My table spans A:L. Here's the code:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-11 at 21:02The error implies that it can't find a range to work with.
As we are working with a table, the .Columns(2)
wont work.
This part hints that you have a table that your are trying to sort.
There's two approaches that I can think of now, to solve this:
1. Sort a regular range by custom list
We can remove the table by:
- Click on the table
- Go to design tab
- Convert to Range
Then your originally code will work (Changed Key1:=.Columns(2)
):
QUESTION
byte b = 0b1111_1111;
byte c = 0b111_1111;
byte d = 0b0111_1111;
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 10:44All basic integer types in Java are signed. To be exact, byte
, short
, int
and long
are signed big endian two complement integers. That means that they run from - 2n-1 to 2n-1 - 1 where n is the number of bits - 8 for a byte (Byte.SIZE
in Java), and therefore the range is from -128 to 127.
The number you are using is always an integer; number literals always are. However, the integer is actually the value 0x000000FF
in hexadecimals. That cannot be stored as it is higher than 127. You can however do an explicit conversion; your value does consist of 8 bits after all.
