kandi X-RAY | yelb Summary

yelb is a TypeScript library typically used in Server, Runtime Evironment, React, Webpack, Nodejs applications. yelb has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities, it has a Permissive License and it has low support. You can download it from GitHub.

When experimenting with new technologies you often follow tutorials that let you deploy purpose-built simple demo application. With Yelb I wanted to make this experience the other way around: start with an existing application and adapt it to the various technologies, services and platforms you are learning. I found this to be way more fun and useful.

Bash function with printf output missing formatting only sometimes
            Asked 2019-Sep-25 at 01:29

I have a function that takes four parameters and outputs a formatted heading. Most of the time this function works, but occasionally it decides to not.

            For h1/h2 you have ${#formatted_ftitle} = 18/19 for even/odd ${#ftitle}, respectively (ie, even=even, odd=odd).

            But for h3 you have ${#formatted_ftitle} = 27/28 for even/odd ${#ftitle}, respectively (ie, odd=even, even=odd).

So, it looks like you need to take into consideration not only the odd/even-ness of the filler but also the title ... when determining if you should strip off a trailing character.

Actually, it looks like it boils down to just having to worry about the even/odd-ness of ${#ftitle}, eg:

log4net: udp appender to splunk only logs first character
            Asked 2019-May-29 at 08:02

I have a simple application which should forward all logs to a splunk server. For this I use log4net with the udp appender.

The problem is only the first character seems logged in splunk:

After finding out, that the sent udp request was different between .net and .net core, I had the assumption that maybe the encoding seems to be the problem.
