QUESTION
More efficient way to assign multiple variables in a FOR loop?
Asked 2020-Jun-09 at 08:11
I'm trying to capture the output of ffprobe to assign to two variables - currently I just run the loop twice to captue the encoder
and codec_name
tag. Is there a more effcient way to do this from within a single loop?
ANSWER
Answered 2020-Jun-09 at 08:11Given that both ffmpeg
command lines return exactly one non-empty line each, you could execute them within the same set of a single for /F
loop:

Install BWFMetaEdit
When you have done all the prerequisite for your configuration, then build BWF MetaEdit. We start with the CLI.
If you have already build the CLI, no need to run git twice. In fact, if you re-run git with an existing BWF MetaEdit directory, git will complain and exit.
