kandi X-RAY | ecst Summary
Successful development of complex real-time applications and games requires a flexible and efficient entity management system. As a project becomes more intricate, it’s critical to find an elegant way to compose objects in order to prevent code repetition, improve modularity and open up powerful optimization possibilities. The Entity-Component-System architectural pattern was designed to achieve the aforementioned benefits, by separating data from logic. "ecst" was developed as my BCS graduation project.

Answered 2020-Nov-11 at 20:32I'm not sure I fully understood your problem when reading the question but it sounds like something you probably can solve with a reduce function. In this example we will go through each entry in statistics and combine the hours.

does not reflect your desired syntax, as far as I can see. But then, neither does using intervalue
for the limits of the interval.
separated_list
is not correct because it is used for an list of any positive number of elements separated by a delimiter. In particular, separated_list(TWOPoints, intervalue)
will not just match 1..4
, but also 1
, and 1..4..7
, among other things. Those other things include nested intervalue
s, such as 2..[4..7]
, which seems unlikely to be a desired construct (although since I don't know what your language looks like, perhaps it is).
You seem to be using separated_list
in the mistaken belief that it is the only way to turn the reduction into an OCanl list. That's not true, since you have the full power of OCaml available to you; you could write that production as
QUESTION
Is it possible to create any formula in excel to kick out any certain portion from a string and keep the rest? If I consider this a string Utopia(UTP)
, my expected output is UTP
. To be specific: I would like to grab the bracketed portion and strip the rest.
These are the texts I would like to apply formula on:
...ANSWER
Answered 2018-Jan-31 at 19:50FIND() will identify where a particular character first appears in a string. You can use this to find the parentheses in your text strings. Then plug those numbers into MID to extract the strings you want:
