            stellarium web js compilation failing
            Asked 2021-Jan-09 at 08:47

I have been trying to get stellarium-web running (https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium-web-engine).

With a clean Ubuntu 18.04 install, after installing scons and emscripten the "make js" command still fails, with some (at least for me) unreadable error as seen below:

I think I found the solution: Downgrading emsdk from 2.x to 1.40.1 seems to have solved this. Thanks :-)

ctypes binding call throws segmentation fault
            Asked 2020-Jan-23 at 06:31

I'm trying to create simple bindings to the MD4C project but get a weird segmentation fault thrown when I attempt to call md_parse. I'm not too well versed in C so the code bellow describes my best attempt to tackle this issue. I acquired libmd4c.dylib by cloning and building the project with cmake according to their instructions:

The API of the parser is quite well documented in the comments in the md4c.h. Similarly, the markdown-to-html API is described in its header md4c-html.h. There is also project wiki which provides some more comprehensive documentation. However note it is incomplete and some details may be somewhat outdated.
