what should be COOKIE_SECRET_CURRENT in next-firebase-auth?
            Asked 2021-Jun-16 at 01:58

I am trying to use next-firebase-auth package to manage authentication in my next js app. Before messing around, I wanted to run the example. However, I could not find proper explanation for the fields required in the .env file.

Could you please explain what should be the values of following fields in local.env file here

            • COOKIE_SECRET_CURRENT
            • COOKIE_SECRET_PREVIOUS
            • NEXT_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_PUBLIC_API_KEY

The last one I guess is the Web API key shown on the config page. Not sure, please confirm.

Add work item field to only one board in a project in Azure DevOps
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 20:13

There are multiple development teams in an area of the organization that work closely together. Each has its own Azure DevOps board under the same Azure DevOps project. All boards inherit from the same Azure DevOps process.

One team would like to add a field to a work item type, but only show that field on their board. The field would not appear on the same work item type on the other teams' boards.

Is this possible? Microsoft has good documentation for Azure DevOps but I can't find anything that speaks to this, and I can't accomplish it myself in the UI. Thank you for any insights.

If you add a new field to a work item type of some team project, this field will be available for all project teams.

Each team can customize the card view on each board (backlog or sprint): Add fields to cards, Customize fields

Additionally, you can use process rules to hide fields (Hide or restrict modification of a field based on a user or group) as Matt mentioned. You can find each team as a group [Team Project]\Team Name in the conditions section.

Note: I want to fully preserve the drag element on the canvas, including shape, size, color, text, etc.

I don't know whether insertVertex does it work. Dragging the orange, red or other box in to the dark area currently does not work.

Yes. Depending on if the other branches have new commits:

            1. If the other branches have new commits of their own, simply check each one out and git rebase origin/master.
            2. If the other branches don't have new commits of their own, while on a branch you wish to duplicate, you can just re-create the others with git branch -f branchDothis, etc. for each branch. Note you could delete them and recreate them, or use the -f flag which mean "force create even if it already exists". The end result is the same.

Are VS Code Extensions also free for commercial use?
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 08:00

In the FAQ page of VS Code, there is a clear answer that VS Code itself is free for commercial use. But, are VS Code "Extensions" also free for commercial use?

When I just look over the Marketplace, each Extension is made by a different person/team/company. Therefore, it seems that not all extensions are free for commercial use. (Maybe it depends on the publisher)

Then, how can I check if Extensions are free or not?

More specifically, are "Python"(by Microsoft) and "Python for VSCode"(by Thomas Haakon Townsend) free for commercial use?

            ...

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 08:00

VSCode extensions are considered as "open source" projects, so each one of them would have its own license. Both Microsoft's vscode-python and Thomas Haakon's Python-vscode use MIT License, which allow commercial usage with no problems. Microsoft's new Python language server pylance is not open source, but it allows the usage of any number of copies with Visual Studio or VSCode, according to their license

You can always read the license yourself, or visit choose a license to get a summary of widely used software licenses

Can I use bot framework to send/update message as a user in MS Teams?
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 05:19

Is it possible to use bot framework to send / update message as a user rather than the bot as the sender of message (perhaps after some form of authentication with the user that allows the bot to perform such operations)?

Below is an illustration of the current situation: I have sent a message by person A into Teams channel, and I would like to do an update to the message using bot framework as Graph API does not support update of message. However, the message does not get updated although there was no error.

This is placed in a web api controller "/test". Hence the update will be trigger by sending a POST to /test.

Where a bot sends messages on behalf of a user, attributing the message to that user helps with engagement and showcase a more natural interaction flow. This feature allows you to attribute a message from your bot to a user on whose behalf it was sent. You can use on-behalf-attribute to send message as a user - please check User attribution for bots messages
