We also recently had this issue on a mac running the latest public beta of Monterey.

For some reason the Times font was no longer installed or active on the Mac.

            You can check in FontBook

            You can simply reinstall it

My project doesn't compile with optimization parameters after upgrading from angular 11 to angular 12
            Asked 2022-Jan-31 at 19:50

I just upgraded an environment with nrwl from angular version 11 to 12 with two angular applications and several libraries. After update when I try to compile using optimization settings:

            Answered 2022-Jan-31 at 19:50

            Reason of the issue

It is expected browserslist to return an entry for each version ("safari 15.2", "safari 15.3") instead of a range ("safari 15.2-15.3"). So, this is just a bug in the parsing logic of Safari browser versions which needs to be corrected and will be done soon in fixed versions of Angular 12/Angular 13. Link to details is here.

This is fixed in v12.2.16 and v13.2.1, please update if you are experiencing this issue. Users on v11 shouldn't be affected. Link to details is here. If you can not/do not want to update for any reason, then one of the workarounds below can be used.

Stopping CSS Grid column from overflowing
            Asked 2021-Dec-18 at 21:12

I tried stopping the column overflow with max-height, max-width, but it doesn't seem to work.

I've made three columns with CSS Grid. One for the nav section, one for the left column and one for the right column. the left column section keeps overflowing over the nav section and the right column section as shown in the screenshots.

            What I'm trying to achieve:

            What happens:

            Answered 2021-Dec-18 at 21:12

To avoid overflowing, you can use the rule white-space: nowrap; for your h1. However, that will avoid breaking the line after "Hello," as well.

So I would also recommend adding a
after the Hello, for explicitly breaking that line.

That should solve your line-break issues, but I noticed you're also rotating the text by 90deg, and that can mess up the heading fitting inside the cell.

So I recommend adding the rule writing-mode: tb-rl (link) to make the text be written vertically, and then rotating it 180deg instead of 90 (so it becomes bottom-up instead of top-down)

This is your snippet with the suggested changes

How to change font-family when locale language changes in vuetify
            Asked 2021-Nov-29 at 05:30

I have and multi-language application and it will switch language via select input that toggle locale between 2 languages, on the other hand, I have 2 font-family that I want to toggle when the locale changed.

            Answered 2021-Nov-29 at 05:30

Although, there are different ways to achieve this, the logic is similar. You should have two separate files (e.g.: style.css and style.rtl.css) and with the getting help from your custom language service detect the direction of selected locale, after that apply corresponding style to your application. But, how we could achieve this target? It totally depends on your needs. You can do it manually or use something like this plugin.

How to remove padding from Text button?
            Asked 2021-Nov-19 at 07:28

I am trying to remove padding from TextButton but it wont work.

            Answered 2021-Oct-08 at 06:01

You cannot reduce padding with the padding modifier: tt always adds an extra padding on top of the existing padding. See this reply for more details about the order of modifiers.

You can reduce TextButton padding with contentPadding argument, by specifying PaddingValues(0.dp), but this will not fully remove the padding.

If you need fully remove the padding, you can use the clickable modifier instead:
