Elastic beanstalk deploy fails when deploying more than 4 containers using docker compose
            Asked 2021-Jun-16 at 03:01

I am having this weird issue with elastic beanstalk. I am using docker compose to run multiple docker containers on same elastic beanstalk instance.

if I run 4 docker containers everything works fine. but if i make it 5, deploy fails with error Instance deployment failed to download the Docker image. The deployment failed. and if I check eb-engine.log. it retries to docker pull command and fails with error.

this is really weird error. bcs all docker images are valid and correctly tagged. it just the number of services that I am adding in docker compose file. if number is greater than 4, deploy fails

my question is, is there any limit of docker services that can be run using docker compose ? or is there any timeout in elastic beanstalk to pull images?

            Based on the comments.

The issue was that t2.micro instance was used. The instance has only 1 vCPu and 1GB of ram. This was not enough to run 5 docker containers. Changing instance type to t2.large with 8GB ram and 2 vCPUs solved the problem.

docker-compose allows to specify cpu and memory limits. Maybe you can set them up to keep your containers resource requirements in check.

Concurrent Counter Struct with Type Argument in Rust
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 23:55

I was following along with this tutorial on creating a concurrent counter struct for a usize value: ConcurrentCounter. As I understand it, this wrapper struct allows us to mutate our usize value, with more concise syntax, for example:my_counter.increment(1) vs. my_counter.lock().unwrap().increment(1).

Now in this tutorial our value is of type usize, but what if we wanted to use a f32, i32, or u32 value instead?

I thought that I could do this with generic type arguments:

I haven't come across such a ConcurrentCounter library, but crates.io is huge, maybe you find something. However, if you are mostly concerned with primitives such as i32, there is a better alternative call: Atomics, definitely worth checking out.

Nevertheless, your approach of generalizing the ConcurrentCounter is going in a good direction. In the context of operation overloading, std::ops is worth a look. Specifically, you need Add, Sub, and Mul, respectively. Also, you need a Copy bound (alternatively, a Clone would also do). So you were pretty close:

VBA loop to copy 100 individual rows one at a time into a single row to run solver
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 23:40

I am trying to write a macro that will copy from a list of 100 rows (9 cells each) into a single row, then run solver on it, and then copy the values to another spot in the workbook.

The below code works for one line, but everything that i have found online appears to be for paste sequential rows, not copying them and pasting them into the same row to be operated on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

            Thanks

Pandas DataFrame: the cells are modified but the changes do not save
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 22:52

I am a beginner in Data Science, so please sorry if my mistake is dumb.

Here, I have a loop which views my data frame and makes changes using .loc The problem is that the changes are not saved at the end. I checked every step, everything is processing right. I even checked the modified cell right after working on it (look below) and its gives the value I put into it. However, when the program finishes the my excel data frame is not changed at all.

Help please. Thank you in advance!

when the program finishes my excel data frame is not changed at all.

That's because you never wrote anything to the Excel file. With exc = pd.read_excel('...') you create a Python object exc (more specifically, a pandas DataFrame), and all the subsequent modifications happen to this object. To change the source file accordingly, you can use pandas' DataFrame.to_excel() method, by adding this line in the end:

How to make an axios get request on page load, then render a am4chart with that data?
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 22:40

I have the wackiest bug. Like....the wackiest! If any of ya'll want to put eyes on this, awesomesauce! I really appriciate it! I am creating a survey with REACT, Redux, SQL, HML, Material-ui, and CSS.

I've created a graph of information with am4charts using data from a database. Everything is working and will show up on the page......but not on page load. What I am seeing in my console is that the page will load, it fires off my get request but doesn't return with the data fast enough (I think). By the time that the get request loads, my graph has populated with no data.

Here is the code that I have for the page that I am rendering. What is really odd is that, once my code has run, I can cut a line of code (I've been using a console log). And then the graph will render and load.

Comparing Week of Year with "overflow"
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 20:49

So I want to be able to look at a specific week of the year and look at all data in the preceding and following 6 weeks.

            WHERE t1.weeknum >= week-6 AND t1.weeknum <=week+6

So if week is 20, I want to return everything between 14 and 26.

The problem is weeks >=47 and <=6. For instance, if week is 4, I want the range to be 50 through 10. Years are a separate dimension and I am including all data regardless of year.

I think this would be similar to a compass heading. Say you are at 350 degrees and turn right 30 degrees. 350+30 = 20 degree bearing.

The Modulus operator (%) seems to be what you want. Since you are using the range 1 to 52 to represent week numbers you need to shift the range to 0 to 51 while calculating:

You must be sure there are no invalid characters in the filename. See What characters are forbidden in Windows and Linux directory names? for more information. So, I'd suggest using the Replace method available in VBA before passing anything to the SaveAs method.

Another point is that you need to specify unique file names to each email. Make sure the generated file name is unique for a folder.
