            Picture changing when it shouldn't
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 11:53

I am trying to build a cinema app with flutter. The structure is as follows:

            • in each city there are a bunch of cinemas
            • in a cinema there are a bunch of showrooms(salle in french)
            • in a showroom(salle in french) there are five display sessions or projections, these projections are of the same film.

because the projections are of the same movie (a showroom displays the same movie in different time(e.g projections) by design), when I click on any of the projections in a showroom I should have the same posture of the same film, not a different posture in each projection.

However I get a different film posture in each projection, and I don't know what is causing this.

I am using a rest api that I created with Spring, and I am certain that the problem is not from my back-end because I am using it in an angular web app and it's working perfectly.

This is a layout of my application

this is what happened when I click on two projection of the same showroom( notice that the posture changes when it shouldn't.

and here is the code of the showroom page (salles-page.dart)

            Refresh page selenium
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 10:13

Heyy ^^ I'm coding a selenium program, but I'm stuck in one place. This program is made to buy 1 graphics card, on a French site, for my son's birthday. So there you have it, I coded everything but now my concern is that the web page of this graphics card is only available when it is in stock so the program cannot find the button by xpath "add to cart" . So I had the idea to make a loop so that as long as the "add to cart" button is not available, the program opens the page of the graphics card to infinity (like this when it is available, the button appears and the rest is done). However, I don't know how to achieve this condition, this loop, can you help me? I am on selenium with webdriver

Incrementing the variable in a function is creating error while preview (swiftui)
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 08:35

I have this code inside which I'm calling "makeView" function that returns a View, and in the makeView function I'm incrementing the variable "id" and passing it to the View, but when I do this it shows this error

"Updating a preview from SongsList_Previews in SongBook.app (2935) took more than 5 seconds."

And surprisingly when I comment out the line "self.id += 1" everything works. I'm new to SwiftUI, so forgive me if I left out some information.

iOS: Make function calls between UIViewRepresentable and View both ways, SwiftUI
            Asked 2021-Jun-14 at 17:44

I am building an application where one of the pages has a webview. Currently the page has a the webview representable and a view. Webview is brought to the view using the UIViewControllerRepresentable. I am wondering firstly how when I tap the login button can I call a function inside the LoginWebview, and also secondly vice versa, how can I call a function in the LoginView from the LoginWebview. I currently have the set up so that when I click login it toggles the states which causes the updateUIView to trigger but how can I call a custom made function in there? And vice versa

Apologies for the long description above and if this a stupid question

            Thanks :)

NavigationView odd transition to and from child view
            Asked 2021-Jun-14 at 16:02

I'm hoping that I can attach a recording of my simulator to this request. I have a list of items that I create a NavigationLink for that call a child view with different data based on a value passed in. The child view is a large horizontal scroll view with pages that support months of the year. DragGesture controls the positioning of the horizontal scroll.

When I transition from the List to the child view it appears almost like it is swooping in from the right and when it transitions back to the parent list view you can see visual from both views appear briefly during the transition.

I believe it has something to do with the GeometryReader and Horizontal Scroll view, but can't figure out how to stabilize it...

            The list view is:

Currently you are using a custom horizontal carousel view(or custom PageTabView etc.), but using TabView with PageTabViewStyle() is easier, unless you want a special animation.

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-03 at 13:46

The problem is - the code is rendering the complete path - start-to-end each time and start is same for all animations.

The idea for loaders is - start point has to change after each animation - something like -

            1. Start at angle 0
            2. Go up to angle 45 /// or 60 whatever you want this to be
            3. Change start angle to next logical step - say 30
            4. Then render up to 75 /// or 90 depending on what you chose previously

In this arrangement, you have to keep drawing a certain portion of the shape by changing start point continuously.

In practice, achieving a smooth transition between different start point values may prove out to be difficult than it seems. You can find an example here - https://github.com/SVProgressHUD/SVProgressHUD/blob/master/SVProgressHUD/SVIndefiniteAnimatedView.m#L48-L102

            UPDATE

The link I shared above has all the hints in it. This library uses an image as a mask and then rotate that continuously. Mask shape can be anything you like - you already have code for that.

You just need to create an image that's appropriate for your animation. See what their asset looks like

and AFTER masking what their animation looks like -
