Scale application actually happens in JavaScript, in the browser, not in any Python code. So no Python functions are relevant to the question with respect to Bokeh. As of version 2.3.1, only categorical , linear, and (standard) log scales are supported in the BokehJS client library.

Friends, this is my first question here... I've been facing some problems when downloading a PDF buffer using MS2XML.XMLHTTP. I've been using Genexus to do so but I also tried right in pure Visual Fox Pro. The problem is that when I send the ResponseText to a string variable, some characters are replaced by question marks, the sam happens when I send the ResponseText to a pdf or txt file. The object created in MS2XML.XMLHTTP.6.0 does not allow using the ResponseBody property. Any thoughts on how could I solve it using MS2XML.XMLHTTP? Thanks.

Since a PDF is a binary file and not a text file, it is quite normal you would see ? and all sorts of other non-printable characters. Instead save it to a file on disk and open with something like ShellExecute. ie:

The question isn't repeatable enough from the code snippit for me to be sure what you wanted, so I've made some guesses. In the future you might try to post sample data and what the desired output would be from that sample data.

The code below shows you one way (using base R) to do an if statement to return a value. There is another way to do this using dplyr that is more readable, but you have only used base R so far.

How to make svg path element scale up and down from the elements unknown center point?

I am trying to make some svg elements popup (by scaling) when the mouse is over the svg and vice versa when the mouse is off the svg element.

I have been able to make the svg element increase in size by using transformation, but I want it to scale from the center of each element. So far I have used .getBBox() to get the boundaries of the element and to get the center point from the beige path element called godwardSqare_obj. I have tried in the function selected_colour to make it so its scales up from the center but it doesn't work; its scales up but not from the center of the element.

When I inspect element on a browser, I can see that the translations and transformation are being applied to the element but only the transformation scale is working.

you actually need to calculate cx and cy in selected_colour at the moment you're just using strings
you'd need to convert from the cx and cy strings to the values of those variables
there's no such attribute as translate and even if there were the translates would overwrite.
you need to set all the transforms in a single step

I am trying to insert this to excel by copy and pasting it. What do the letters and numbers mean? How would this data look once it was converted?

The number 0.00256 is expressed as 2.56E-03 in scientific notation .

What this means is that the number before E (2.56 in this case) is multiplied by 10 raised to the power of -3 , which is 2.56*10^(-3) .

Similarly the number 744.67 is expressed as 7.4467E+02.

For example , your first y value (1.975000E-01) would be 0.1975 since it is 1.975 * 10^(-1) .

Your first x value (4.0E+00) would simply be 4 since it is 4.0*10^(0).

Whenever you have tag-value pairs in your data I find it best to first build an array to contain that mapping (f[]) below and then you can just access the values by their tags/names.

Using GNU awk for the 3rd arg to match() and then taking advantage of the \s/\S gawk extensions:
