QUESTION
I'm trying to add a native share button on our AMP page with the simpliest code but the button keeps being hidden.
I know my phone + chrome supports the Web Share API as I've already tested the feature on a non-AMP page with regular JS. I tried looking at amp-by-example but they do not have a real example at hand... only some gifs. Here's the code they show:
Does anyone has an actual working button on a real AMP page where I could see?

Answered 2019-Aug-23 at 07:06There's a working amp-social-share example on amp.dev. Note: it'll only work in Chrome on Android.

Install amp-by-example
Install NodeJS. You will need version 4.0.0 or above.
Install Gulp via npm. You may need to use sudo depending on your Node installation.
Set up the repository:
Build and run the site:
If everything went well, gulp should now be running the site on http://localhost:8000/
