While my solution isn't exactly what you describe under Option 2, it is close. We use combineWidgets() to create a grid with a single column and a row height where one graph covers most of the screen height. We squeeze in a link between each widget instance that scrolls the browser window down to show the following graph when clicked.

Let me know if this is working for you. It should be possible to automatically adjust the row size according to the browser window size. Currently, this depends on the browser window height being around 1000px.

I modified your code for the graph creation slightly and wrapped it in a function. This allows us to create 25 different-looking graphs easily. This way testing the resulting HTML file is more fun! What follows the function definition is the code to create a list of HTML objects that we then feed into combineWidgets().

Linking Patreon API with a Flutter application
            Asked 2022-Mar-04 at 02:13

I am very new to using Flutter and have never properly used an API without help. I want to make my application free (without tons of ads) so I was hoping to create a Patreon to support it's upkeep. When looking for tutorial videos online or any examples of code to use for either Flutter or any other languages I know how to use, I came up empty handed. So I was posting this question here hoping that someone could help me link the Patreon API to Flutter. The documentation doesn't say it connects directly to Flutter, so you'll have to use another language to access the information (best bet is Javascript or Python on my opinion) and relay that too Flutter.

I (and possibly other people) would need a button created for OAuth login through Patreon (that works on both iOS and Android). When the user goes through the login, it needs to grab which tier they are supporting, their username, and when their subscription will renew (monthly or yearly?). This then needs to be translated to Text widgets (displaying the tier and/or username) and a "visible:" property for Visibility widgets (displaying certain content based on the user's monthly subscription and making the same content invisible or put behind a newly visible lock page when their subscription ends/expires).

Sorry I know this is a lot to anwser, but I'm not very experienced with APIs and Flutter. I will appreciate any anwser that helps because I really want to make my app without tons of advertisements and I'm hoping this question will help other Flutter developers with the same goal of supporting their development financial without tons of advertising effecting the user's experiences on the app.

            Patreon API OAuth Documentation https://docs.patreon.com/#oauth

Flutter JS (I think this may help connect with the Patreon API, but I'm not sure?) https://pub.dev/packages/flutter_js

Examples of code and a step by step guide would be fantastic, but anything will help. Thank you again!

Change color of child button element regardless of box decoration background color
            Asked 2022-Mar-03 at 11:56

I am building a landing page that has a logo and then a sign in and login button below it. I used a box decoration to specify the background color because I am very particular about the gradient scheme. However, I realize it may have some kind of "absolute" effect on my container widget because I can't seem to change the colors of the buttons within the widget. I am new to flutter UI and I am probably layering the widgets incorrectly, but any help would be greatly appreciated! Here's the code for the landing page:

error with PhotoView : Looking up a deactivated widget's ancestor is unsafe
            Asked 2022-Feb-25 at 21:55

I have read few stackoverflow posts about "Looking up a deactivated widget's ancestor is unsafe" error but couldn't find an answer which work.

I've tried to set a global key with the scaffold, and to use WidgetsBinding.instance.addPostFrameCallback() without success.

I'm pretty sure I'm doing something stupid and easy to fix, but I can't figure out what.

How to open a new MDI sub-window in PyQt5?
            Asked 2022-Feb-14 at 18:51

What I want to do is to open a new Countrypage sub-window by clicking on the "New" button which is in Countrypage itself.

For example, if I click the "New" button in a CountryPage window (window title: "Country page"), one more new Countrypage window will be opened in the MDI area (window title: "Country Page 1"). Now if we click the "New" button in "Country Page 1", one more new window will open in the MDI area (window title: "Country page 2") and so on - and I want to close the windows one by one by pressing the corresponding "Close" button in Countrypage. New window are opened only by pressing a "New" button.

And if we close the last opened window by pressing the "Close" button, the text item in the "Country" text-box will be automatically updated in the previous window's "Country" text-box and so on.

The adding and closing of sub-windows is best handled by the main-window. The CountryPage class doesn't need to know anything about the sub-windows. The new/close buttons can be directly connected to methods of the main-window. This makes it easier to manage the sub-windows via the functions of the mdi-area.

This is a common mistake that happens when using Inherited Widgets like MediaQuery. Now you may not be using it explicitly but from your description it seems that Flutters' showModalBottomSheet method maybe using it.

The error is telling you that no MediaQuery ancestor(i.e. WidgetsApp, CupertinoApp or MaterialApp) could be found above context. It means above this context:

So I got in touch with the JetBrains team via their issue tracker as @PhilipDukhov suggested and they solved my problem: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/KT-48815.

I was using kotlinCompilerExtensionVersion = versions.composeVersion in my app's build.gradle file and this is incorrect. versions.composeVersion is something provided by Gradle but it seems to be deprecated. Oneself should manually write the version which they're using there.

            Vulnerabilities

An issue was discovered in the Widgets extension through 1.4.0 for MediaWiki. Improper title sanitization allowed for the execution of any wiki page as a widget (as defined by this extension) via MediaWiki's {{#widget:}} parser function.

            Install Widgets

You can download it from GitHub.
You can use Widgets like any standard Java library. Please include the the jar files in your classpath. You can also use any IDE and you can run and debug the Widgets component as you would do with any other Java program. Best practice is to use a build tool that supports dependency management such as Maven or Gradle. For Maven installation, please refer maven.apache.org. For Gradle installation, please refer gradle.org .
