kandi X-RAY | DynamicUpdateClient Summary
The dynamic update client is a simple, lightweight but useful update client for linux that watches local versions and remote versions and updates the local system if new updates come available automatically. It uses cron to schedule logic. The update client is placed on all devices that run modules which could be updated. The client is responsible for selecting, downloading and triggering updates. It was designed to run on the Intel Edison in order to update systems in places without internet, but it can be adapted more widely.

Install DynamicUpdateClient
You can use DynamicUpdateClient like any standard Java library. Please include the the jar files in your classpath. You can also use any IDE and you can run and debug the DynamicUpdateClient component as you would do with any other Java program. Best practice is to use a build tool that supports dependency management such as Maven or Gradle. For Maven installation, please refer maven.apache.org. For Gradle installation, please refer gradle.org .
