Clients repository for the Solutions for Open Land Administration (SOLA) open source project. This repository contains the SOLA Desktop and SOLA Admin client applications along with projects supporting client side functions. SOLA uses multiple Git repositories for managing its code base. The code repository is the super/parent repository. Refer to the README in that repository for details on all SOLA Git repositories.

QUESTION
I am trying to inject code for a platform I use with my clients on Cloudflare. I would like to be able to add the following CSS only IF the class: badge-icon.icon-template is NOT present. I would like to use javascript for this (I think this is the best solution). Can someone help?

QUESTION
I am trying to generate a table to record articles published each month. However, the months I work with different clients vary based on the campaign length. For example, Client A is on a six month contract from March to September. Client B is on a 12 month contract starting from February.
Rather than creating a bespoke list of the relevant months each time, I want to automatically generate the list based on campaign start and finish.
Here's a screenshot to illustrate how this might look:
Below is an example of expected output from the above, what I would like to achieve:
Currently, the only month that's generated is the last one. And it goes into A6 (I would have hoped A5, but I feel like I'm trying to speak a language using Google Translate, so...).
Here's the code I'm using:

QUESTION
Trying to use Impact font in my html email, which is working fine in Outlook 365 windows and web clients, as well as Gmail client in browser, but the iOS native Mail app, Gmail app and Outlook apps all default back to arial. What am I missing?
Here's the table in question. Class is leftover from a MS port, and I'm leaving it in in the hopes that it improves mso performance, but all it's really doing is setting default font-family, font-size and margin (0).
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 05:24Impact may not be 'websafe' then, as it appears to NOT be installed on Androids and iOS (mobile), otherwise it would work. Unless the class "MsoNormal" has a different font-family on it. (I would remove that, it's not necessary or related to performance.)
If that fails, you'll need you to use @font-face
to load it in from a public website. Keep in mind @font-face
is not supported on everything: https://www.caniemail.com/features/css-at-font-face/
As a fallback, you might like to use a similar font, via Google Fonts which is already setup for this: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Anton
But to make it work on absolutely everything, you'll need to save it as an image, and load in as
QUESTION
I created an empty asp.net core web application (dotnet new web -n
) and went to the github for IdentityServer4.Quickstart.UI and was followed the instructions to add the quickstart UI. I first did the powershell cmd iex ((New-Object System.Net.WebClient).DownloadString('https://raw.githubusercontent.com/IdentityServer/IdentityServer4.Quickstart.UI/main/getmain.ps1'))
to download the files and run the application but it keeps telling me Index not found
but the file is inside of the Views
folder. So I then deleted all those files it downloaded from the project and installed it using its templates by running the cmds dotnet new -i identityserver4.templates
then dotnet new is4ui --force
which downloaded those files again onto my project. However, it keeps telling me the same message.
I noticed that under the Quickstart
folder, contains a folder named Home
which has the HomeController.cs
and the namespace is as IdentityServerHost.Quickstart.UI
... do I need to change that namespace to match my solution i.e. ids.Quickstart.Home
?
What is causing this to display that error when infact there is the Index.cshtml file inside of the Views folder?**

QUESTION
I'm working on a Chrome extension that integrates with a website. My users can do actions on this website when they are logged in to it.
I have a Socket.IO server that delivers commands to my Chrome extension. Once a command arrived, the extension invokes a local function from the host website. Then, the host website, which has an authenticated active session with its own API, will invoke some update/insert call.
I recently realized a potential security issue, which is - if anyone spoofs my server address on my extension clients organization, he can easily abuse it to send his own parameters on behalf of my server (image 2).
Is there any smart way to ensure my client communicates with the real server and not an imposter?

Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 16:49Use HTTPS secured connection.
This is one of the features of HTTPS (SSL/TLS) - it can prevent a MITM attack and prevent the destination server from being impersonated.

...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 09:51If this isn't going to throw an exception then I don't know what is going to.
This is caused by using blocking
code within Netty's event loop
.
The code over here is making a blocking request 20 times in a row which cause the machine to break. I don't know what data is coming from the client but I would never recommend to do it in this manner.
QUESTION
I would like to know whether there is a recommended way of measuring execution time in Tensorflow Federated. To be more specific, if one would like to extract the execution time for each client in a certain round, e.g., for each client involved in a FedAvg round, saving the time stamp before the local training starts and the time stamp just before sending back the updates, what is the best (or just correct) strategy to do this? Furthermore, since the clients' code run in parallel, are such a time stamps untruthful (especially considering the hypothesis that different clients may be using differently sized models for local training)?
To be very practical, using tf.timestamp()
at the beginning and at the end of @tf.function
client_update(model, dataset, server_message, client_optimizer)
-- this is probably a simplified signature -- and then subtracting such time stamps is appropriate?
I have the feeling that this is not the right way to do this given that clients run in parallel on the same machine.
Thanks to anyone can help me on that.
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 12:01There are multiple potential places to measure execution time, first might be defining very specifically what is the intended measurement.
Measuring the training time of each client as proposed is a great way to get a sense of the variability among clients. This could help identify whether rounds frequently have stragglers. Using
tf.timestamp()
at the beginning and end of theclient_update
function seems reasonable. The question correctly notes that this happens in parallel, summing all of these times would be akin to CPU time.Measuring the time it takes to complete all client training in a round would generally be the maximum of the values above. This might not be true when simulating FL in TFF, as TFF maybe decided to run some number of clients sequentially due to system resources constraints. In practice all of these clients would run in parallel.
Measuring the time it takes to complete a full round (the maximum time it takes to run a client, plus the time it takes for the server to update) could be done by moving the
tf.timestamp
calls to the outer training loop. This would be wrapping the call totrainer.next()
in the snippet on https://www.tensorflow.org/federated. This would be most similar to elapsed real time (wall clock time).
QUESTION
Hello my favorite people!
I am trying to send an email after submitting a form, with the AUTO INCREMENT number attached to the email because the AUTO INCREMENT number is the clients Job Card Reference Number. So far i have successfully created the insert script which inserts the data into the database perfectly, and also sends the email too. But does not attach the AUTO INCREMENT number into the email. The INT(11) AUTO INCREMENT primary key is "job_number" in my MySQL database.

Install clients
You can use clients like any standard Java library. Please include the the jar files in your classpath. You can also use any IDE and you can run and debug the clients component as you would do with any other Java program. Best practice is to use a build tool that supports dependency management such as Maven or Gradle. For Maven installation, please refer maven.apache.org. For Gradle installation, please refer gradle.org .
