            I've been experimenting with a part of MIDV 500 dataset, tried to localize document quadrilateral. So, my output is a vector of 8 floats.

            RGB images were scaled to 960 by 540 pixels (960, 540, 3), pixel values were scaled to [0..1]. Target vector also scaled to [0..1] (simply divided by image dims)

            My first approach was pretrained CNN (+ fine-tuning) from Keras applications (tried EfficientNetB0-2) with following Dense head:

            Two things:

            1. Please check which version of TensorFlow (TF) you are using. I believe that from 2.5, you don't need to rescale the input image to the range [0-1]. The network expects tensors from [0-255]. https://keras.io/api/applications/efficientnet/
            2. Your model architecture and callbacks look all right (I am not an expert on this optimizer + loss though). Thus, I am assuming that the problem might come from your data input. Are you using ImageDataGenerator as input and for splitting the data from training and validation? If not, it might be worth a try.             This is (semantic) segmentation task in Computer Vision. Deep Learning can be used to do semantic segmentation. There are many methods in deep learning.

            You are trying to segment residential area in aerial images as your residential area is white and roads are black in your output mask. But people generally do it reverse i.e. they segment roads. You can find a lot of tutorials (example) on internet by searching "road segmentation in aerial images" . Once you have segmented roads, you can take negative of the output to get black roads.

            For best results, you will need labelled data. A quick way would be to use someone else's data (and/or model) and then fine-tune on your own labelled data. You can find other's data on internet (e.g.: Toronto Univ data). You may need around 200-300 of your own labelled images for fine-tuning (transfer-learning).

            The following code uses SymSpell in Python, see the symspellpy guide on word_segmentation.

            It uses "de-100k.txt" and "en-80k.txt" frequency dictionaries from a github repo, you need to save them in your working directory. As long as you do not want to use any SymSpell logic, you do not need to install and run this script to answer the question, take just the output of the two language's word segmentations and go on.

            This is the recommended way. I found this out only after doing the manual way. You can easily use the same frequency logic that is used for one language for two languages instead: Just load two languages or more into the sym_spell object!

            Stuff like this usually happens when you have ProGuard enabled but not correctly configured. Make sure to add appropriate rules to proguard-rules.pro file to prevent it from obfuscating relevant classes.

            Information about this is usually provided by the library developers. After a quick search I came up with this example. Sources seem to be documented well enough, so that it should not be a problem to find the correct settings.

            Keep in mind that you probably need to add rules for more than one library.

            Currently, I am preparing a synthetic dataset for object detection task. There are annotated datasets available for this kind of tasks like COCO dataset and Open Images V6. I am trying to download the images from there but only the foreground objects for a specific class e.g. person, in other words images without transparent background. The reason I am doing this is that I want to insert those images after editing them into a new images e.g. a street scene.

            What I have tried so far, I used a library called FiftyOne and I downloaded the dataset with their semantic label and I am stuck here and I don`t what else to do.

            It is not necessary to use FiftyOne any other method would work.

            The easiest way to do this is by using FiftyOne to iterate over your dataset in a simple Python loop, using OpenCV and Numpy to format and write the images of object instances to disk.

            You have two file paths:

            Your invalid path error is an nrrd file in the image directory, pyradiomics: error: unrecognized arguments: /Users/mostafa/Desktop/PyRadiomics/Image/CT_G0045.nrrd

            An additional problem you may encounter is the space in your directory name. You should replace spaces with underscores or use quotes when constructing the command. Something like cmd='pyradiomics "'+file+'" "'+image_filenames[i]+'" -o results'+str(i)+'.csv -f csv' should work.

            Just because your client can (supposedly) support segmentation for "Both" directions - transmit & receive, the server/device/AHU doesn't.

            So in order to read the full object-list, you have to fallback to looping thru the Object-List array - one element at a time.

            Element/array-index 0 of the array (- the first element), contains the count of the number of data elements; for each element that you want to read - including the first one/element, you have to specify the target/desired element/index that you wish to read.
