What is meant by required-api: param name=”#target” in config.xml file of AGL widgets?

I am trying to understand various available AGL specific options that we can give in config.xml and I am referring to the link below

This is the sample config.xml file

I figured out why we need this

            required-api: param name="#target"

            OPTIONAL(not compulsory)

It declares the name of the unit(in question it is main) requiring the listed apis. Only one instance of the param “#target” is allowed. When there is not instance of this param, it behave as if the target main was specified.

You can use spring-script-repositories like any standard Java library. Please include the the jar files in your classpath. You can also use any IDE and you can run and debug the spring-script-repositories component as you would do with any other Java program. For Gradle installation, please refer gradle.org .

            Support

You can specify timeout either in @ScriptMethod annotation or in custom one to be able to stop script execution if needed. It is useful if you deal with resources like files or database connections either in your provider or in an evaluator. If you want to implement such a bean, you need to either:. Or you can try to use ThreadLocal class members to store a reference to a closeable resource.
